Meh, still not enough for this team to get over the hump. I'll keep waiting patiently and hope to not be disappointed.

If sammy is waived what is the cap implications?
Wgr was mentioning that if they don't buy him out this year, then it gets wayyy worse if they decide to after. This year is almost a slam dunk to get rid of him for peanuts. Seems like a missed opportunity to get out from a mistake if they don't
I guess that is what has been frustrating, mistakes happen but this regime seems unable to recognize one was made and the subsequently learn from said mistake.

Meh, the sabres can do almost anything and it's hard to find emotion. We have a dimwit at the helm...maybe he makes a few good trades, probably makes many bad ones. Sabres tickets will remain super cheap and some fans will show up.
Were stuck, stuck in Hades, have no coin for the ferryman to cross and just wallow in this space of hockey.

GMs aren’t usually looking at draft prospects unless it is a top pick. Closer to the draft they get filled in by their scouting staff and dive in but throughout the year they are worried about their team day to day.
The day to day is also, by all accounts, $hit. So, what exactly does he do. He ices a crap team, gives laughable public conferences and lacks any killer instinct. He's essentially a Hemmhroid attached to the innards of Terry's rectal cavity. For some reason Terry seems to enjoy having Hemmhroids. Good for him I suppose 😜

Maybe woody can get one too so he can make some bread while he’s having soup and a sandwich all while driving.
Don't tempt me, I do love me some bread

Just traded in my GMC sierra elevation for a new Sierra Denali; loaded up to the max.
The super cruise is really cool to use, definitley helps with highway driving, hands free. Drove the 86 last week and ate a soup and sandwich on the ride and didn't have to touch the wheel at all. Little akward getting used to it at first lol.
Expensive truck, but one of the smoothest I've ever driven.
Now I get to work more shifts to pay for it 😂

FLA looking dominant.
If they hold on, who gets the MVP?

Both times he got a jump on the face off, crazy. At 37, I woke up with a limp from sleeping to hard 😂

Let's see what they do with the lead tonight

Much tighter checking this game. FLA looks a bit more tired as of this far.

I love hockey, so I'm not opposed to this going the distance.
If E Kane wasn't on the Oil I would def, hands down, want them to win. Gun to head, I kind of enjoy seeing Canada not have a cup in their own national sport.
On the converse side, FLA already has theirs, and I want to see that Skinner Smile (Jeff) raising the cup in his first playoffs.
So I'd say I'm 51/49% in favor of FLA but really can typically watch unbiased, which makes the hockey even better.

Ugly finish to a fun game. Pickard is the only Reason this is tied... Refs helped a bit too.

Ugh, what could've been
Terrance Pegula... Go away

Another blatant stick hold by Edmonton not called. This is out of control tonight honestly
That def kept Verhage (sp) from a good scoring chance too, I mean, call the obvious ones at least.

Trade : Conor Timmins and Isaac Belliveau from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Connor Clifton and the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

I have fingers (and toes) crossed that Adams and Jarmo are setting up something big. Clearing salary for a Robertson or Petterson or something BIG. All of this salary clearing here HAS to lead to something....sure we got "tougher to play against" but all I heard last off season was our revamped 4th line was going to be tough as nails and that panned out exactly 0%.
So as of right now, we are a basement team with an older coach (who may or may not be good) and a very poor reputation.
Still some time..... This is as much optimistic energy as I can muster.
