Savoie has slowly become the only “untouchable” non NHL prospect this year. Kulich’s playoffs were lackluster as was Rosen. Östlund and Wahlberg are still raw. If Savoie actually wins the WHL title with his team he’d become the first Sabres prospect to actually win their youth league championship in quite some time. So effectively he isn’t available for a rental or 3rd liner

Saw him at a Bills game last year talking with John Murphy and a couple Bills employees

That in of itself is sort of a catch-22; when your team is good the AHL team will naturally become storage for extra players. When your team is building up or tearing down you'll have an influx of youth needing a spot to play and Top 6 AHLers won't sign because they feel they should play on your NHL squad. I agree with this part; but also feel there's a limit on how much a player can gain from playing in lesser leagues and due to our prospect numbers it creates a bit of a crunch.

For a guy or two sure; he’s magically signed 5, Muel is missing and Skinner somehow ceased to be.

Cap is the issue here so its a mute point.

Why does the announcer remind me of the "apparently kid" with his inflections.

But the AHL is supposed to be the development league for the NHL primarily. If the Amerks are made up of developmental pieces primarily is that not technically supposed to be how all the teams should be? It just feels kind of two faced for the league to be all about development but their more successful set ups aren't anything close to that.

OT: New 3 on 3 Professional Hockey League coming to North America

Frankly feels like a purely bad thing 1. Saudi Funding 2. Potential talent siphoning 3. If it somehow has some success the NHL will become more gimmicky to combat the competition. -
I'd guess something has to happen however

Don't like that whatsoever

I'd take Tavares at 50% for a most a 3rd; stick it to the Leafs

I do love tweets that are pure mind-####ery

He could play with Bedard and its not like Chicago is extremely far away.

A Blackhawks site proposed a 2nd and Aiden Thompson for Skinner; so I played with that as a premise https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/5116530

Frankly I don’t see a scenario where trading Dahlin helps this team in the slightest. I’m certainly not moving him for lesser pieces and McDavid isn’t walking through the turnstile.

The Sabres should trade the 11th overall pick in the 2024 draft

To be honest besides Lindstrom and Iginla, I’d want a player now that good. -
A lot of the hate we have for the Leafs stems from stuff like this that aren’t even on the ice.

Anyone see the clip bouncing around Twitter saying that Toronto sees the Core 4 as gods?

I don't see one trade out of #1 since 1999 with the whole Sedin twins fenagle

Well Green helps us theoretically by hurting Ottawa. I was worried they might hire a better coach

Seeing as your the one who endlessly has a fit when I have anything to say negatively about Eichel or Vegas; I'm not entirely sure how I'm to blame. Eichel was my favorite player when he was here, I went to bat for him with my family over him and was disappointed in the team results we achieved. But when he asked for a trade he became a traitor to me and thus family members felt vindicated by their misgivings being correct in some regards. I am first and foremost a fan of the Buffalo Sabres; which means depending on how you went about your departure matters greatly to my continued interest. Reinhart got strung along yet still didn't take it out against the team or city. Thus far Mitts has done much of the same. As such my only hang up is wanting them not to score against us in matchups. Eichel on the other hand demanded his way out, and then later went after the fans which is an immediate trigger-point. Had he been merely traded away without requesting it; he'd still be one of my favorites. It all comes down to the how.

You've got some messed up priorities then my friend. Cheering for a player who asked to leave the team you are supposedly a fan of to succeed in order to spite fans of the team you supposedly are a fan of is screwed up in so many ways.

No, I'll give them a 4th for him at 50% but I'm not giving them anything to help them clear cap.
