Actually able to watch this one live (Second in a row, yay west coast trip.
The Sharkies can't win at home and can't beat the Sabres. You know, except for that last game.... Still, big win on the cards tonight.

I'd be willing to bet he's pretty much spent. the NCAA schedule doesn't make it easy to transition to the grind of the NHL. He's played way more hockey than he's ever been asked to before, at a much higher level. He'll get used to it.

NBCSN has decided not to carry the Sabres-Oilers Game Tuesday Night, instead RJ returns for the call on MSG.
Good: RJ is back,
Bad: Why would the NHL dump the only national US Television Appearance by McDavid this year?
Selfishly I'm pleased because now I can watch it.
As to why NBC would drop the game, well, they picked up Washington / Pittsburgh. Because of course they did.

I will always be in favor for taller nets. The net does not to be larger in any other way. A taller net takes up no more ice space. Goalies are already pretty much maximum size, so this only needs to be a one time adjustment. A taller net would force goalies to play on their feet more often. Goalies now can just back up into the net on their knees and pretty much take up from ice to top bar. With the adjusted net now if a goalie goes down too early the top will be mostly open especially from farther distances.
Just wait until skaters see an exponential increase in the number of pucks to the face...
