Lehner is awful. Nine out of ten times he goes behind the net it's a turnover. He can't, iterally can not stop a shot one-on-one. He lunges at shots or what he thinks might be shots. He somehow gets smaller in front of the net when he can't see the puck. He can not hold a post. He's actually, when you drill down, literally bad at everything a goalie needs to do.

We're far beyond the point where it can be attributed to anything other than Lehner being awful at playing goalie. He's .

Lehner is objectively awful. Should the team in front of him be better? Yes. Should dude stop the occasional puck when there's a breakdown in front of him? Yes. But dude can't. In a league where goalies aren't a thing your take is valid. A lot of teams have a gut between the pipes who keeps the puck in front of him. The Sabres do not.
