That place is so interesting. As the name suggests, it's American southern barbecue combined with south Asian principles of roasting and flavouring meat. We've gotten takeaway from them a few times -- really, really interesting (in a good way).
I've never been but i live near it, and man this place is hopping all the damn time. I'll try it soon and report back.

I realize it's not a popular take, but i think they gotta send Benson back to the WHL. While he shows flashes of being very good, his potential is enormous, let him cook in the WHL and light up the score sheet. I think besides the few nice flashes he makes, he just loses the puck too easily too many times. He just doesn't seem strong enough for this level. I think as theres more tape on the kid teams gonna feast on him more.
Yeah, now im convinced. He must return back to the WHL.

Obviously very early, but something to keep an eye out as we chase for a playoff spot is Ottawa and Detroit look VERY good to start the season.
Ottawa has 18 goals so far this season.
Detroit has 17 goals so far this season.
Both still have a period to play tonight.

Forget where i heard it, probably Sabres Live, so take it for what it's worth, but they said Sabres have one of the tighter alumni's in the league in terms of activities they do and how often they get together for functions, golf tournaments, attend games, ect.
That said, you are right, i dont ever really recall them coming and giving speeches to players besides Ryan Miller but that was after his jersey-retirement. I wonder if one of the reasons is Boston has a rich history of winning, meanwhile Sabres, for much of their existence, have been pretty bad. -

Bales is considered one of the best in the business.
He's widely credited with helping Marc Andre Fleury resurrecting his career and developing Matt Murray. Pens won back to back Cups. In Carolina, Cam Ward praised him, and then he had Petr Mrazek have one of his best seasons after years of struggle and waiver-claim pickup Curtis McElhinney have a solid season.
He hasn't had similar success in Buffalo, but let's face it, the team has been bad and the defense has been young. But i think the Sabres are in good hands with Bales.

Goes without saying, but the 3-goalie system sucks bc one of these guys isn't gonna play for another like 3 weeks. I forget who, but someone on twitter was trying to predict when Comrie/UPL would play and they said Monday.

What in the world was Skinner doing on the ice in the final seconds in the 3rd when Tampa scored? Only other guy i'd rather NOT see on the ice in that spot was scratched tonight. That was a bizarre time to send Skinner out.

He's 20 years old. You sound like those fans who were calling Dahlin a bust.... when he was 21. Obviously Sabres are banking on him getting overpaid early in his contract and then deal becomes very team-friendly.
Also, Power is making $916k this season. Yeah, so overpaid 🙄😅
