  1. These lines mean nothing to me when their overall team defense is horrid. They need to shut down the middle of the ice in their own zone and clean up these breakaways.
  2. Their defensive system is ***** brutal. Like I have said in previous posts not really sure Granato is the right guy to get these guys to the next level.
  3. ^ This was an absolute horrid game at home and uncalled for.
  4. That will be a make or break for the season, not sure if they will beat the Kings but Anaheim and San Jose they should win but if they put up some stinkers these games they could kiss whatever chance of the playoffs goodbye. They need a veteran defenseman and another scorer in the worst way.
  5. They give up way too many chances. From the games I’ve seen they’re not good defensively as a team. Plus as much as I like Granato, I’m not sure if he’s the right guy to get this team to the next level.
  6. This team isn’t ready to make the playoffs if they don’t make a move or two. After being off as long as they have there is absolutely no excuse them being outshot as bad as they are. They need to play better team defense.
  7. The white pants look horrendous with white jersey and socks!
  8. This is how I feel but they could really use a solid defenseman.
  9. ^ This. If you give up a first, Rosen or Östlund, Johnson or Portillo then ok. But I’m keeping Peterka, Quinn and Kulich. I think the Sabres could use another solid defenseman before Timo Meier.
  10. ^ This is 100% spot on
  11. Sorry I’m not signing Cozens for 8.5 million until he shows way more then what he’s producing now! Not saying he won’t be worth it someday but if Tage is your highest paid player then others on the team need to be paid lower. Oh I forgot Skinner was the highest paid but I’m not a fan of that contract and if he’s not with Tuch and Thompson his numbers wouldn’t be is high as they are.
  12. He’s not worth what Hughes is plus Hughes is a better player.
  13. Tuch is making 4.75 million. Yes, Dylan has gotten better but look at the point difference between him and Tuch. Plus you take Tuch off that Skinner and Tage line and I think those two point productions drop off. He is the one going in the corners and doing the dirty work for Tage and Jeff! You don’t want to be in cap hell when you have a lot of prospects and unknowns about how other players have been progressing. I have seen it first hand with some solid contracts handed out here in Vegas and some not good ones. Too me Dylan is a good player but not more than what Tuch is making.
  14. Just like the Bills, I’m not sure if the Sabres have the right coach to push these guys to the next level. Their overall team defense leaves a lot to be desired.
  15. That’s been going on for a very long time. The Bills are the only team that have found new and creative ways to lose games, part of the reason why I don’t watch many NFL games plus when the league got too political that was pretty much it for me!
  16. I said years ago the Bills defense is too soft on the defensive line. When the Titans ran all over them they should have known better plus their pass rush wasn’t good enough. You can’t be all offense and no defense like the 90’s Bills!
  17. ^ This
  18. He should get no more then Tuch’s deal
  19. I’m in Vegas and I’m about ready to give up my season tickets. You may ask why you guys have a pretty good team! Yeah sort of but the cost of tickets is getting stupid. Season seat holders are losing money when we can’t attend and I’m talking a pretty good Chunk of money each game. Throw in the fact this team has mismanaged its players going all in to win the cup and it backfired big time. Fleury was the face of the franchise and when he was traded the fans were pissed. Then get rid of fan favorite Reeves plus many other horrendous trades people have had enough. Getting rid of Gallant and then hire DeBoer and then get rid of him when we didn’t make the playoffs. It’s almost comical. Plus just because this team was in first in the pacific division doesn’t mean *****. This team is getting up there in age and the injury bug has now hit them two years in a row. My friend who is a NYR fan calls it the curse of Fleury on how they ***** him over. I absolutely love hockey but I have my limits for how much to pay. You could ditch your season seats and get tickets the day of the game from other season ticket members who are dumping their seat last minute for way less then you keeping season seats!
  20. They aren’t ready let. They need alittle sandpaper to their game and they have to get better in their own end. This team needs to hustle. Way too much floating and puck watching! This is spot on - The offense needs to be more defensively responsible. They need to make better decisions on passing.
  21. It’s not just the defense, it’s the forwards being too lazy in their own end. The total team defense is pathetic. Way too many chances for opposing teams! I’m thinking Granato isn’t the right coach to lead this team where they need to get to, which is playoffs and Stanley Cup.
  22. Just got back from the Golden Knights game and their effort tonight was pathetic. They have been total trash at home this season and a lot of us season ticket holders are getting pissed due to the way they play on the road compared to home! I knew Dallas was going to win tonight for our former coach, then you throw in our injury situation and it’s a recipe for disaster. The chemistry is off with this team and it’s pretty tough to make moves when you’re right up against the cap. Oh and by the way I don’t think Logan Thompson should be an all star. He’s played well but not at an all star level. I think Stephenson should have been chosen and he’s been good all season until Eichel came back. Take that however you want but Jack isn’t going to rescue these guys. Jack needs to shoot the puck a lot more but he’s always doing the same things. He wants to control the puck and then trys these cross ice passes that defenders usually get their sticks on. Vegas will be lucky to hold on to a playoff spot with the way they are playing plus the injuries are starting to pile up.
