  1. One game. However, lots of playoff series are decided by one game. I'm sure LA felt they should've won this one.
  2. Looks like the Ducks have solved their defensive and goaltending problems, short term at least. Completely new series. And Chicago dropping two against Minnesota is not something I had expected.
  3. I think the Bruins are gonna have their hans full with whoever comes through in the west, except the Wild. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I think the Ducks and LA stack up better against Boston, than Chicago?
  4. Though I bet the Sharks would make it to the ECF more often that not, if they were an eastern team.
  5. Wonder when lumberjack Boychuck will take a two-handed swing at his knees?
  6. Clean player. No prior history, you know? Not his fault he's stick is so long, and everyone else is so short.
  7. God, that chance by LaFontaine was even bigger than I remember. He literally has a full second to put that in on his backhand, and then goes forehand. Shades of Drew Stafford :wallbash:
  8. It'll be Chara. He can't help it. He's just big, you know? He doesn't mean to crosscheck people across the face, he's just big. Not his fault he's big.
  9. I expect them to target Price.
  10. I'd root for the devil himself, if he were playing the Flyers or Bruins :P
  11. Love watching Boston lose.
  12. Ugly numbers.....
  13. Exactly, there's no way Montreal is going to hang in there against the Bruins' cheapshots. They're going to lose the war of attrition big time, unless the NHL grows a pair and suddenly starts suspending Bruins. I figure if it doesn't happen against the Habs, it never will.
  14. Screw Ron Rugnutt? Why? That Plante softie was epic, we should be sending him wine every christmas. Screw Ed Belfour instead :wallbash:
  15. Epic collpase in San Jose - Any chance they'll dismantle that team over the summer? Clearly, it's not a post-season team. At least not out west.
  16. Here's one to make you feel better : Too bad our own players get suspended every time they touch a Bruin, so I guess other teams have to pick up our slack. This is a dandy though. And BTW : 1. Philly 2. Boston 3. Ottawa
  17. LOL, I don't recall the specific game, but if something like that happened, why would I expect it to be against Ron Rolston's Sabres? :w00t:
  18. That Bruin collapse was magnificent, however them winning it the next season kinda takes most of the fun out of it.
  19. Man, if the Blues fans thought they had it bad, they need to watch San Jose, who are on the verge of an epic collapse.
  20. We're still paying for a lot of Darcy's stupidities.
  21. No, Toronto did not lose a playoff position due to said goal :flirt:
  22. There's a memo that allows the on-ice officials to let questionable Sabres goals stand, as long as a certain set of conditions are met. 1. The game must be absolutely meaningless, i.e. the Sabres may not be in a position where they can either move into a playoff position, or stop certain other teams from moving into said playoff position. 2. These teams are Boston, Montreal, Toronto, any team with Sydney Crosby on the roster, and if the goal is scored against the Flyers, the Flyers. 3. The goal must under NO CIRCUMSTANCES happen in a playoff game. If any of said conditions are NOT met, the goal must be called off immiediately, preferrably without any explanation or review, and an automatic game misconduct must be handed out to John Scott.
  23. They have? My memory fails me, I don't recall when? I obviously should rephrase though - "How the hell do you allow two goals when facing an empty net"?
  24. I'd only take him back because it would make it easier to win online games in NHL14 :flirt:
  25. How the hell do you allow two empty net goals? I don't think I ever saw that before.
