Not that I disagree, but to be entirely fair to perhaps myself and other posters, do you honestly think the team has shown anything to warrant optimism, these past years? Not trying to pick a fight, an honest question. I guess my point is, until the team shows some reason for optimism, we can’t hardly blame people for being the opposite? This has been a nightmare skid for years.

RK really took an already tough to watch team, to the next level.

Maybe they should’ve saved that money on the GM they hired, considering they’ll be doing his job anyway. Sarcasm aside, I agree - anyone in their right mind would want to at least have a say in who they’ll be paying. That being said, anyone in their right mind would also learn from 10 years of past experience, and recognize they shouldn’t try to do a job they flat out suck at, so I’m kinda torn here…

More talented, or better player? Jack is by far the more gifted hockey player. Bigger, longer reach, stronger on his feet, great hands, vision etc. Drury in his prime was a much more complete player than Jack is now, as there’s nothing he couldn’t do, except throw bone jarring checks, or play goal. Jack is better in the other teams end than Drury, hands down.

And boy, did it show.

I don’t think either option is right. I don’t think they’re a bad team, but they’re not a good team either. They are however a very young team, and right now it appears Granato is teaching them some basic, good hockey habits. I like that.

And to keep him long enough to lose 18 straight. The guy should, at the very least, had been canned after 10 losses in a row. It’s not like he’d taken them anywhere to deserve any benefit of the doubt.
