Who thinks Alex Tuch is an NHL superstar? I don’t need him to score 30 goals or get 70 points. I need him to impose his will like he did in the OP. Until him and some other players (either currently on or not on the current roster) do the same, this team is dead in the water. You can’t figure skate your way to a cup.

Who one this roster is going to have the courage to go into the dirty areas and do the things needed to win in a playoff game or race? They have a team entirely made up up perimeter players. Tuch gets there sometimes. Cozens acts like he wants to but have we seen it. All I see is a team that wants to score pretty goals on 30 ft slap shots. Don’t get me started with the defense. Which one of these all offense Dmen is going to be our rock? Someone that clears the crease, gives opponents fear when they enter the zone or god forbid hit anyone when it matters?

If you bring back all of the same players with a different coach, the outcome won’t be much different.

We had this exact same conversation at this point in a previous season. It’s getting old. If there was a shred of evidence that this org gets it and is making strides, the fans may understand. Just Charlie Browning it every season is making my skin crawl. I hate being sober.

Or if you get scored on more than you score, get off the team. If your $11 million dollar player is on the ice “too much” maybe he’s the wrong player.
