  1. There is a curiously wide breadth of variability in the interpretation of the game on this board. I would argue that for fun. Of the best skaters not named Hutton I would say Eichel and Dahlin were better players. I think Eichel had a far better game than a lot of people seem to be giving him credit for. I think Mitts was as good as Samson. Can we say Elie was skating well? Because he was skating well. None of this is to say Samson didn't have a good game, but I think many of them were playing at a similar level.
  2. There are late bloomers in every part of life. Hockey is no different. Sometimes it's personal development, sometimes circumstances, usually a mix of both.
  3. I can't agree with this. Tonight they played with more urgency and grit than they did against Boston. And with regards Hutton, that's what a goalie is for. Some games the goalie wins. I don't see a problem with that happening in game 2 of the season.
  4. That was a good hockey game, totally worth the time. Thanks, Sabres.
  5. Oh, I'm sorry, Eichel scored tonight, too.
  6. Disagree. He hasn't scored, but he's been creating out there.
  7. The cat party commercial is good.
  8. Looks like Dahlin is feeling more comfortable today.
  9. Yeah, have to give him credit. Hutton awesome with the stick!
  10. Well, you are special. ?‍♀️
  11. And F**K WGR for not talking about the Sabres yesterday. Bastards.
  12. Someone does. I like Zemgus on the PK, don't have enough data to know how Elie or Sobotka would do.
  13. Yeah, this third period is key. They just need to play like they have, except for the last few seconds there. They look good.
  14. Elie needs to stay on the roster.
  15. I caught that. It was textbook coverage.
  16. Ugh, McCable, watching the game. Not good, McCabe.
  17. That was freaking brilliant goal-tending.
  18. That's what I want to see from Dahlin.
  19. See, if they played like this consistently, then, even if they lose, they lose honorably.
  20. Pretty. Wow, what a difference tonight.
  21. I think I like any combination you two have offered and agree HCPH doesn't want an all-youth line. That is where HCPH starts losing me and I wish we had a more aggressive, adventurous coach.
