Leino, Weber, and, sadly, Ehrhoff standing out as must-get-rid-of candidates. Along with Hodgson.

This is dreadful hockey.

Time for some questions.
Maybe this has been answered, but why are there two calenders on the SabreSpace main page, one empty and one with the schedule in it?
And why do I have to cut soda/pop with seltzer? I like soda/pop but it's just too sweet. Why don't they make a half sweetened soda/pop? Not one that's half sugar/half aspertame, but just half as sweet? Pisses me off. Don't they realize that whatever calories I wouldn't be getting with a Coke I would be making up with the rum?

Rob Ray is talkin' like a crazy person tonight.

"Right height, wrong guy."

We are being ridiculously obvious about it, and the league can't really have that.
Nobody didn't know what the Penguins were doing to get Laimux or Crosby
EDIT: I guess I made your point with Lemeaeueauux.

This really is dreadful to watch.

This is all a load of garbage. Where were all the complaints when Pittsburgh or Chicago were deploying the tank in order to get talent?! So Buffalo does it and now it's time to change the rules? Horsesh!t.

This stupid freaking head cold will not go away! It's been more than two weeks now. First it got steadily worse, then I thought I was getting better but was stuck around 70% for most of a week before it came back for round 2. Now I'm again in the week long 80-90% better phase. I've never had one like this. So done with Kleenex.
I'm in my seventh week (Jan 26) and my left ear just closed off again.
My hockey team lost in the playoffs because they are a bunch of cry-baby know-it-all puck hogs. Here's an idea, if you are trying to stickhandle through three guys, that means that someone else on your team is open and you should probably pass it them,... oh, wait, you'd rather lose the puck, then sulk about it and not get back on defense? Got it. I'm even fine with that, just don't later think that I give a crap about your opinion (which you so freely give) on what I'm doing on the ice.

They don't,… except when they do.

My good God. This is a whole different debate but how does she wipe her asss with those talons ?
My favorite is a walnut crunch. Close second is the maple whatdoyacallit at Tims. Not sure of the official name but it tastes great.
Lately I've been off donuts do to a fitness and diet thingy that has taken over my mind. Hoping to get it exorcised soon.
As for the captain its a revolving door around here so we'll alternate

This whole Bavarian/Boston Cream thing is nucking futs. Who wants a donut with about a 90% chance I look like I just finished a gay porn shoot? Not to mention the 100% certainty I'll make chocolate somewhere on my face. The taste is ok but nothing special. I can think of half a dozen donuts I'd rather have captain my donut team:
Glazed
Chocolate glazed
Jelly filled powdered
Jelly filled glazed
Any holiday type donut
Cruller
this
I'm late to the party here, and I'm fairly confident my answer will not be acceptable to many, but I would go with the chocolate munchkin.
Even worse: I don't really like donuts.
Unless, that is, funnel cake/fried dough (like what you get at a county fair) counts -- that stuff is great.
and this.
If I'm going with somethin' sweet for breakfast (why I would ever choose a donut over eggs and corned beef hash is beyond me), I'm going with a cinnamon roll or even better, a cheese danish.
Doughnuts leave me feeling empty inside, although, I've never had a Paula's glazed. Maybe they would fill the whole in my heart left by Freddie's closing

Didn't Dick Chaney have one of these installed a few years back?
My dad has had one for a while. It's actually been so long that they now make better and smaller ones. Instead of just changing the battery this Spring, they are going to swap the whole thing out.

Watching the Tyson version now. I'm greatly enjoying it. It's beautiful. The animations will help capture the attention of kids in case they weren't already riveted by the gorgeous renderings of storms on Mars and Jupiter. I was skeptical about the animations/Seth MacFarlane's involvement but... it's good. I've been a fan of Tyson's Nova series- just the right mix of goofy and informational.
In case anyone is confused where to catch it- watch it on Hulu for free!
The show is awesome. Neil deGrasse Tyson is the perfect steward for this show, as is Seth McFarlane, apparently. It makes sense, though, as I'm pretty sure that Seth is an alien.

Hodgson plays his offensive game: he floats and isn't physical, therefore he sucks.
Hodgson throws some physicality into his game: he's bad at playing physical, therefore he sucks.
Conclusion: you must not only try to be physical, but successfully pull it off, to be good. Sorry Pat Kane, you blow.
(Edit: if it wasn't clear, I'm trolling. Relax.)
Methinks your logic is a little flawed.

We need to start a didvillescore.com site like they did for Gomez.
I find it truly amazing that he hasn't scored yet this year and it looks like he won't ever score again.

Lots of Bills fans in denial about the team's ability to sell out games.
They forget that the greatest comeback of all time was blacked out.

Anyone have an instant replay of the disallowed goal by Ennis? For sure it wasn't a penalty but I thought I saw a hand pass by one of the Sabre forwards in the Chicago end just preceeding the goal.
I saw it too. I'm not sure who it was but they were laying on the ice, right? I'm also not sure if it hit a Chicago player first, though.
-
You don't have to re-watch the game. He was bad. If memory serves, one of those spirited hits along the boards resulted in him flat on his little fanny, while the dude he hit skated past him.
Now, Conacher and Ennis were spirited. Conacher has a pretty decent two-way game that needs work, but he's not far behind like Hodgson is/was, and it's seems he's willing to do it.
Oh, thank God.
-
He was hitting. It was the first thing I noticed him doing. His work along the boards was spirited even if it wasn't as effective.
So, he gets a participation award?
meh
-
He played well tonight.
I'm going to have to re-watch then. He tried hard, I guess, but he couldn't keep his feet in the first. Didn't make anything happen and just refuses to hit when he has the chance. it was maddening.

Everyone I know says this. There has to be a market for it.
And yes, all artificial sweeteners taste like hand cream.
