What makes me really irate over the whole situation is that the book Multiple Blessings is STILL being sold in Christian bookstores - in spite of all the buzz at the Wal-Mart tabloids!
What I am about to say will probably draw a bunch of "who cares" replies from you guys. However, please hear me out. All of you know just how far to the right I tilt on just about everything - including this book. From all of the book reviews I perused through on amazon.com, quite a few people brought up the fact that Bible verses were being scattered throughout the manuscript. I could careless just how many verses an author throws in there (which, BTW, they had assistance in writing this book). Their lives don't back up what's written in there (and a very big reason why I don't trust what's being sold in Christian bookstores for the most part - but that's an entirely different topic that I won't bring up on this forum).
Ok, ok. Some of you may be saying, "just like the pot calling the kettle black." Yes, I make mistakes and I own up to them. It's all a part of my pilgrimage. OTOH, I don't see them owning up to anything - except when they get caught!
On a related note, I get a kick out of these women that get implanted with all these embryos because they can't get pregnant, then when they all survive and the doctors tell them they should remove a couple because it is safer for them and the mother, they say,"No. God gave me all these miracles and I'm going to have all of them." Bullsweet! Man and Science gave you all those babies, not God. If it was up to him you wouldn't have any kids.
As for J+K+8. I have one daughter. Having spent the last three days traveling between work and the hospital, it really pisses me off when I see them treating 8 healthy kids like accessories or paychecks. I know I'm probably just jealous, but they don't know how good they've got it.
EDIT:Sorry for bringin' the Heavy to the party. Just had to get it out.

Babies suck and kids suck more.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breast feeding only until age 1.

I'm driving in to work today and my Ipod lands on Rush - La Villa Stangiato. It made me remember a complaint that has been eating at me for years. Rolling Stone did a list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time(yes I know these lists are stupid) and Alex Lifeson was not on the list. Personally, he's at least in my top twenty. Whatever, but then don't go and put Joan Jett on that list as well. Yes,... you read that correctly,... Joan Jett.

Grass? What is that?
Isn't that what beatniks smoke to feel groovy?
Oh yeah, my complaint. People here complain about winter saying how they hate to shovel snow. C'mon. You maybe have to shovel here four times a winter...maybe. Yet you have to mow the freakin' lawn every week because it grows so fast.
Did I mention I hate Summer?

Not the manliest song ever but I love it!
Any band with numbers in the name is automatically disqualified(except for Level 42, they've been around long enough to be grandfathered in).

Doctors suck. They make you wait for ever, don't tell you anything that you don't already know, then charge you incredible sums of money for the "privilege" of seeing them.

Any Cult fans out there?
If you like symphonic metal from Finland, here's one for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jd_ZF594DKU (Too bad Tarja Turunen got dissed by her own bandmates)
That reminds me of this time tested classic.

I am a child of 90's rock, so for me there is nothing better. I swear to god there is no alt rock song from the 90s that I don't know, I think I've literally heard it all.
This is the first song I can remember hearing on the radio in the 90s. I was 8 (I know right?) and it was all down hill for me from there. B-)
About 4 years ago I went on a search to rediscover a lot of 90s music that I remembered but had no idea who did it or what it was. It was quite an adventure. A couple gems including:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5Cf5OusjrQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2EE511FWsQ
That was a nice little trip. I'm a little older but still like a lot of that music.
The whole time I kept saying,"where's that Spacehog tune?"...and there it was.
EDIT:I found the comment from the One More Astronaut chat kinda funny,"Canada! Thats a dirty of the commonwealth isnt it? " That's just funny.

This is catchy:
The marimba player who only plays on the up beats definitely has the hardest part.
On another more horrifying note(pun intended), this song has been running through my head ALL DAY.

As senior advisor and site historian, I am pleased to announce the site has undergone a format change. It's now WINE, all whine, all the time. I was going to announce it in an LB-style animated press conference, but I'll be damned if can figure out how to do it! LB is a genius.
Wine, and whine, gives me a headache.

Please clarify. There's three people I've covered thus far, including the guy who made a lucid observation on the whole matter.
I meant the two in your plus/minus. I won't comment on the preacher.
 to 11.
No Sabres playoffs just sucks.

No, but I am well aware of the controversy surrounding the question. There is no denying that he had an agenda.what someone had to say about it.
My complaint is that Evangelical Christians complain when some ELSE has an agenda. Oh, the irony.
By the way, I find BOTH of their intolerance equally as repulsive.

Why does it take so long to recover from 4 days of very little sleep? I've been back to the real world for about 4 days now, but I'm still dead tired. I guess I'll just have to sleep this entire weekend.
Only sleep, huh?
When you poison your body as bad as I'm guessing you did as well, it takes time to recover. Wait 'til you're forty.

No Sabre's playoff games really sucks. I'm actually a little surprised at how strongly I feel about it, but it really sucks.
Now, from the obvious to the mundane. I know that Children's fundraising has been brought up before, but it has to be mentioned again. I was driving through a town and got stopped at a light. Someone comes up to the window asking for money for the schools softball team. I never carry cash so I couldn't contribute. No offense, but how much is a glove and a couple of bats. Anyway, at every light for the next 2 miles or so were these people. I felt bad at first, but after 2 miles of the Begger's Gauntlet, I was glad I didn't have any money and wanted them to just go away. I'm still trying to figure out how they are different from the window washing bums.

I was watching the game on NHLN last night. It was the TSN feed of the Calgary game. It was in HD but I noticed that it just didn't look right to me. I then noticed that there was the banner across the top of the picture that has the score and time on it. Fine. But then I noticed that it was not at the top of the screen. It was actually down a bit and the picture above it was in shadow. Whenever play was in the middle of the ice you could not see anything on the far side of the rink because of this stupid banner.
So my complaint is more of a question. What kind of jackass says to themselves,"Ya know, that HD picture is just too darn big. I think we should cover almost an eighth of it."? Oh yeah, TV producers who cant get out of their own way. And I did measure it. They covered up almost an eighth of the picture

I was sick of the word "bracket" even before Sunday. It's making me  at this point.
I HATE MARCH MADNESS!!
If a game winning basket with no time on the clock didn't happen every third game, I might actually get excited over it.
And what's with all the teams. Who cares about Laramie Ag/Tech vs. Peoria Clown College.

Panini. One day, I've never heard of it. The next day, everyone is saying it like I should know what it is.

And the ultimate no brainer complaint: work
A-freakin-MEN. The hardest part of my job is getting in my car to get there.
-
Not sure, but I do know that I am stupider for having watched both.
-
Pretty sure that is the first (and likely last) time I have ever seen the phrases "a great American" and "Sean Hannity" in the same sentence. Unless those two phrases were flipped and separated by the words "is not"...

Now that we're on to traffic...The Four Way Stop. It's just not that difficult. The first to stop - the first to go. If two people stop at the same time, the one on the right goes first. It's that easy.
Every day, on the way to and from work, I hit this intersection that is quite busy and there is always some dope gummin' up the works.
Yes, I'm complaining about the nine extra seconds it takes me to get home from work.

While I am very grateful to still have a job, I will voice a complaint here that layoffs have left us with half the people to do the same amount of work ... and in some cases they laid off the wrong damn people.
Also, no offense SwampD, but while I am complaining, Super Bowl is two words ....
I hate having to fix posts.

I never miss an opportunity to tell someone not to use that word in front of me. When they ask why I just say,"because I don't like it." If they need more of a reason I put it on them,"It makes you sound stupid and you're smarter than that."
It was only hard the first time. It's real easy for me to say it now.
