We can’t either. 😂 At this point in the season, just enjoy the hockey. He’s still a puppy. I actually see too much confidence and he is trying to do too much. Right now, he reminds me of Tage before he moved to center when was trying to stick handle through three guys instead of just making the smart play.

I love this stat. It would be perfect if it also factored in the quality of the shooter and goalie (it is a league average, so it doesn't differentiate between Samuelson shooting on Bobrovsky from Crosby shooting on Houser from the same spot), but it's close enough.

There were what should have been routine plays on the end wall in our zone that ended up scoring chances for the other team. And it was Chicago and Pittsburgh, not very good teams.

He has the most talent, if that's what you mean. Not sure if he is the best player right now, though.

Our Cs do get traded. Injured or not, His issues look exactly the same as before he got "injured". When he stands up tall and looks real pretty, he makes a mistake. when his knees are bent and he is down low digging, he's unbeatable. Someone needs to remind him of the old saw, "bend your knees as low as you can go, your half way there." It worked for Mittelstadt. Once he stopped getting knocked down, he became really good along the boards.
