There are two determinations the linesmen has to make. Is it going to cross the goal line, who will get there first. He was wrong on both.

I know what the rule is. Do you? The puck still has to go past the goal line for it to be icing. Until then, it’s just two guys chasing the puck. The linesman ***** up. There is no defending it.

What the hell are you talking about?! It’s not icing until it crosses the goal line. How could he already make that call if it wasn’t even icing yet?!

So, Quinn touches the puck before the goal line and the linesmen calls icing. Un(totally)believable. I'm not a fan of Tage. I think he's a paper tiger and a one trick pony and we'll never win anything with him as our #1 C. If he doesn't learn from this game, we're screwed. It's the NHL, you can't do the same thing over an over and expect a different result,… you can't even expect the same result, ffs. Defenders learn. They know you are taking the slapper. He sees the defender sliding to the ice and still fires the puck into him, ending up in a breakaway that ends up in our net. How about pulling up short, going around the floundering guy on the ice, draw a bunch of guys to you, then making a pass to someone wide open. 0-2 since his return. I know it's been against tougher competition. I don't care. Still glad we got a point.

That was a really good hockey game. The Sabres were excellent. They just didn’t score. Heck, the Wild barely scored. The non-calls were interesting. Pretty sure they would not have changed anything, but they were interesting.

Since it was most likely tax money that paid for the arenas they are playing in, seems only fair. Gotta complain about something. Good a reason as any. Says nothing about house prices or other prices. Every time I’m back in WNY, I’m amazed at how easy it is to live there,… and how cheap.

I was guilty of this and now completely admit I was wrong. In a GDT, I criticized him for letting pucks go by him at the blue line and I think it was @Taro T who pointed out how many he keeps in. I’ve been keying in on him ever since, and TT’s right, it’s crazy just how many difficult pucks he keeps in. And he’s great everywhere on the ice. My only criticism of him now is that he still gets nonchalant with the puck every once in a while, and doesn’t pay enough attention to the guy closest to him when making a pass. He needs to shoot through that guy like hi is trying to score on a goalie. He hits their feet way to much for how good he is.

We missed you. I also think his lack of an edge might actually be an asset. It means he’ll be injured less often.
