Who would think losing a roster player doesn't hurt. Kyle's had a pretty good season.
There are folk.
He has.

KO trade does reinforce that.
It’s an abject fail of a season. Puts KA on the hot seat for next. I’m glad to see early signs point to him being proactive in switching some things up. It’s very needed and could bode well. I’m ready to shift my focus to next season and it seems the team is too. For better or worse.
I'm at the point where I don't take any of these trades on good faith, anymore. I keep trying to see one thing that tells me that KA and TP are really trying to build a winner. I know they are trying to stay the youngest team in the league (now, by a lot), most likely to (a) have a built in excuse and (b) to have a low payroll.
BB-4 showing up in that Cancun Crew photo kinda raised my eyebrows. I can't get past this feeling that they are just keeping those here happy enough to not implode, while not having a real answer (or plan) for sucking.

Injury insurance, possibly 4th line replacement.
On a Stanley Cup hopeful. He has value.
And contrary to what people think, the Sabres got worse today, at least for the rest of this year.

Sorry, but I’m glad to see him go. Just shows you he had hardly any value.
That makes no sense. Why would Florida take him if he had hardly any value? They have their eyes on the Cup.

It took a while, but eventually, the Sabres always trade their captain.

Do we have to wait until the offseason to recognize Adams as Executive of the Year? Pretty impressive roster construction. How did he ever manage to steal Comrie away from the rest of the league? Pegula should sign Adams up to a lifetime contract before someone tries to poach him from this organization.
E to the E to the E.

Power should play wing.

Great use of your time out Donny
It was nice of him to end this sooner.

How does Comrie look
He looks like a goalie whose team has actually scored above their average for him.

Can't wait to find out what was encouraging about this game.

Who thinks we come out in the 3rd and tie this up?
I have my doubts.
Bo with another to tie it up.

Painful.
If the only nice thing I can say is that "at least they are hangin in there," we're screwed.
Cuzens is having a terrible game. If he is injured, he should just sit until next year.

I honestly just love how you guys want our defense to play physical and strong in front of the net yet one of the guys who does it sucks because he doesn’t do it exactly the way you want.
Id like Dahlin to stop knocking players into his goalies but at very least the intention to punish the offensive player is there.
Whatever. My bad. Yes, the Sabres are great and do nothing wrong. I just can't understand why they lose all the time.

Have the sabres left their zone with possession yet this period? Other than the two Hail Mary passes, I mean.

Only watched the 2nd period. Are we really this devoid of talent compared to…Nashville??
Yes.
So much reaching. Just like last night.

What a ***** blockhead! Why is he checking people into his own goalie anyway? Didn't he already injure him that way before?
-
JFC! Can we please see more than 1 GD goal in a game!!!!
*****!!

Dumb penalties the difference so far.

You pointed out that the Sabres got no shots in the first 15 minutes. So what! Toronto controlled the play when the game began, then the tide turned the other way. It's the standard ebb and flow of a hockey game. You point out that some Toronto players were sick. So what! Our most productive offensive player (Mitts) was dealt before the game. This game was relatively even that was tied after three periods.
In general, the team played hard and well. They lost in OT and gained a point. If you want to characterize this game in a negative light, then that is your prerogative. If you didn't see any positive play in this game, then so be it. I saw this game differently. If you have problems with the divergence in opinion, big freaking deal.
Sure seems like you do as well.
Seeing as slow starts are a continuing issue with this team, I cannot find the fact that it happened again encouraging. That was not a well played game by either team. Even the announcers commented on that fact.
We got a point. Yay.

Did you fall asleep after the first fifteen minutes? Toronto got the first nine shots to start the game. After that, the Sabres got the next 12 shots. The Sabres ended up with 25 shots on net for the game (10-9-3-3) while the Leafs got 27 shots for the game (6-9-10-2). May I kindly offer you a recommendation: When watching the game keep your eyes open for the whole game. 🤡
Are you calling me a clown? Classy.
I did watch the whole game. And actually, the Leafs only got the first 6 shots on goal, not 9.
I know how to watch hockey, and if the outcome of the game was determined by SOG,... well, we would have lost that, too.
None of that has anything to do with the fact that no shots in the first 15 minutes of a game is not encouraging at any level, especially against a sick Leafs team. Nobody changes the goalposts like you.
Time for a break. I'm tired of people pissing on my leg and telling me it's raining.
Sabres Trade Kyle Okposo to Florida for Defenseman Calle Sjalin and a Conditional 7th Round Pick

You do realize that Florida did not have to trade for him, right?
Why else would they trade for him if they didn't think he was going to make them better?
Tkachuk will get injured or at least be not 100% at some point in the playoffs. They are going to need Kyle.
