  2. Ding ding ding!!! It's his picture from draft day circa 1906.
  3. This pic Who am I?
  4. Nickelback are you ###### kidding me.
  5. The Sabres could put the opposing team colors on a little goalie man for game day!
  6. They say he's NHL ready and could be a cheaper ELC even if he plays in AHL.
  7. Would this be cool for you boys?
  8. How about picking up Justin Schultz? That D-man from Anaheim Ducks?
  9. Pommie's got my back. Or is it bact?
  10. Rumor: Parise to Dallas
  11. Ahhh, the half Willie Nelson, "for all the girls I've ducked taped before ".
  12. For you, duck tape.
  13. Rumor: Zibanejad, Foligno, Bishop for Nash.
  14. He's congratulating the boy on beating him at curb handball.
  15. Or just stop following f'n idiots.
  16. Also "reporting" Stastny and Boyes to Toronto. Not much of a reach to say Ennis will get @ 3 mill.
  17. Revenue sharing basic premise is the old "you are only as good as your weakest link". Just 11 clubs were shown making an operating profit, according to the most recent valuations of the NHL. The “haves” fall into clear categories that make the challenges all the more daunting for the league. Disincentive for new owners: The bankruptcy of any NHL team is a bad signal to prospective owners. Let's remember that relocation fees to the league are very small in comparison to franchise expansion fees. While there are flaws in the system that should be addressed in the next CBA, it's in part to protect the future value of the larger teams like Toronto. Giving money to weaker markets to pursue larger viewing audiences is a good thing. The NFL's TV contracts are like $200 billion, the NHL's only about $400 million.
  18. Why shouldn't the Sabres get rewarded for meeting league mandates and having a revenue-growth rate that matches or exceeds that of the league average? I might argue the 2.5 million people part although I have no problem taking a few million dollars from the likes of NY, LA, Philly, Chicago and Boston.
  19. I think the loss of a pet may be worse than the loss of a good friend. They're someone you can confide in, they never talk back, and are always there for you. I truly hope there is a doggie heaven for you.
  20. Giving another thought to this. Is this the reason the OSP decided to in fact sell the team after saying no the first time around?
  21. They missed in 2011-2012 (based on 2010-11 numbers). I believe the qualified for revenue sharing next season, 2012-13, based on 11-12 numbers.
  22. This place http://citybration.c...il-contest.html is having a cocktail contest. Make a cocktail that exemplifies the waterfront. Personally I think someone should make a Pegulager. The name of the new cocktail must somehow reflect the Waterfront. Please use ingredients that are readily available at local liquor and grocery stores, and try to make it easy to mix by bartenders in our busy Buffalo pubs – we’d love to have it served in local watering holes long after the Floating Cocktail Party is over and the boats have docked.
  23. Um. Sabres missed revenue sharing last year.
