  1. Fans are really buggin' about Lucic's play right now. He'll be the highest paid Bruin next year. Maybe?
  2. So no Iginla? Bernier, Pyatt and Kassian's all I got.
  3. Rosen with his list of possible coaches: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=661791&navid=nhl:topheads "I know what I'm doing and I'm trying to get it done. Hope to have it done quickly." - Yzerman
  4. Sounds like Iginla has formally submitted his list to Calgary. Penguins Bruins Blackhawks LA Kings.
  5. Yeah, he wasn't even playing in the NHL. You old guys will like this. NHL94 style http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=0&id=225308&cmpid=embed-share-video
  6. I think you're looking at the shirts from the last playoff run. The one's with the 16 games on them.
  7. I'd take a Sedin, or two. You know, throw in some picks...
  8. That's exactly what the Blues and Sabres said of Boyes when he came here. "Change of scenery meme"

  10. Need one more option: Sabres go on a run and still miss the playoffs.
  11. What I'm saying is how long until other teams figure it out. Can he change on the fly?
  12. I love how Vanek on his second goal knocks Subbans stick out of the way just far enough so that he can get by Subban and then take the pass from Ennis. Secondly, is the winning that we're seeing right now from the Sabres a product of Rolston ideas or system not being known by the rest of the league. Just like Enroth was really good until he got solved by the NHL?
  13. It was interesting to see at the end of the game when James Patrick was passing the whiteboard across the bench and was holding it right in front of Rolston and Rolston just kept his hands down. Patrick pulls the whiteboard back and passes it again to Kevyn Adams.
  14. How about we just eliminate him. Why bring in someone for him? Get rid of him AND someone else and bring in a new guy.
  15. At least a few games ago for the glasses. Nice game Sabres. BTW that goal is in Leo not Myers. Leo over pursued. Myers was in the right spot. Leo should have been 15 feet East.
  16. Lagunitas IPA. Cute bottle.
  17. From Jesse Spector: Since Shanahan took over the Department of Player Safety last season, the NHL has issued no suspensions to any Devils, but three to Rangers (Andre Deveaux, Carl Hagelin, and Brandon Prust), two to Blues (Ian Cole and Chris Stewart), and two to Red Wings (Kyle Quincey and Brendan Smith). In addition to the Devils, no members of the Los Angeles Kings, Tampa Bay Lightning, or Winnipeg Jets have been suspended under Shanahan’s reign — although all four suspension-free teams have had players fined. The real question, though, is why Shanahan has failed to take any disciplinary action whatsoever against the Hartford Whalers, the only team for which he had a shorter tenure than the Rangers. Serious conflict of interest allegations, indeed.
  18. Wouldn't want him to get hurt before the trade.
  19. Two games for Edler and none for Lucic. That's fair.
  20. Posting in the right thread I win by tiebreaker. :D
  21. Don't worry. I won't even gOOgle wtf Dzeko is.
  22. Lupul chimes in....
  23. Hands in your pockets again?

  25. My point is you can't just stop paying a player when they get hurt. For the players it's about choice. Sure, something like 70% currently wear visors and the vote over the summer will probably make them mandatory but... Would you stop paying a player because now, with their mandatory visor, they still get clipped in the eye because they held their head wrong? Should've known? Wasn't looking? Lazy? Give me a list of avoidable risks. Next thing you know fighting is banned and they're all skating around in knight outfits.
