    The Wings just have to lose one game in Florida. Boston has to help out with the Caps. Then if the Sabres win two more games at home they're two back of both Detroit and Washington.

    What are the fancy stat odds of that happening? Probably not great but probably not extremely unlikely either.

    But if it happens what are the playoff chances then?

    It's like rolling two Yahtzees in a row. Not common but I've done it.

    Maybe a little. What I'm really trying to do is save my hockey fan soul. I want to believe there's a chance, feel disappointment when it's over. I don't want to be so invested in thinking there's no chance that I feel conflicted when they keep their chances alive.

    I doubt it. But if you're right then TP should have immediately ended the tank upon firing DR.

    So when Tay Tay comes out, she swoons when she sees Woody in his scrubs, stethoscope seductively hanging around his neck, his blond locks bathed in moonlight. "I need to be checked for STDs!" Woody obliges and Tay Tay is in the 300s with the good doc for the Caps game and at every game home or away after that. The Sabres catch fire and as Swifties buy up those BS hats, Bettmann sees his opportunity to sell hockey in the US once and for all. Every team around Buffalo in the standings starts losing on suspicious calls.

    Night Train's call goes through but only because it's one number off from Travis'. A master impressionist who worked directly under Frank Caliendo, NT is able to convince Tay Tay to send nudies. From there, blackmail and a secret meetup at the Microtel just south of Springville. Outside? None other than Woody.
