I think we all know the answer to the first question.
I wasn't clear. I know why he's getting the attention. He's a minor celebrity. Maybe it wasn't right to call it a perp walk, unless someone in the investigation tipped off the media.
I guess what I'm asking is why Vanek would be brought in as a witness, above so many others. Number of bets? Amount of bets?

Of all the people who placed bets, why does Vanek, if he placed bets, get the perp walk and the attention?
Would it be based on the amount of the bets? I mean, when you're a millionaire many times over, how much money does it take to make things interesting?

No, I wanted Darcy to make the call. With Darcy's M.O. over many years, Grigorenko should have been sent down. He wasn't, and that along with Pegula's comment to Sylvester make me think Terry probably meddled.

Even though DR screwed up Grigorenko's development, perhaps permanently, he still raised his points per game production each "season" in the QMJHL.

On the same trip, he was stuck at ORD with a cancelled flight and ended up sharing a bowl of peanuts with Alan Thicke in the Admirals Club. They got to talking and Thicke said he was on his way to LAX to do some work on a new TV show, showed my dad the script, and it was Growing Pains.
