My complaint; timewarps, ... What the 'HE double hockey sticks' happened to summer already? I can't believe Labor day weekends upon us already and I still haven't finished staining the fence... The older I get the faster time seems to march on...... :thumbdown:

I took the time with my kids to nuture a half dozen maple tree saplings to about 8-12" high and proceeded to plant them in the back yard this last Sunday late afternoon. Came back with my Boys to water them Monday night and the tops and most of the leaves have been nibbled off by deer over night.(saw the hoof prints in moist dirt around them). They left them alone when they were in the mulch beds and grwoing by the house. Damn who knew they liked replanted maple tree saplings.

Take the job but tell them you had some set vacation plans before you actually start. Then take a nice vacation and enjoy your accomplishment and then get off your lazy a$$ and start contributing to the GNP and more importantly paying that FICA tax so people like me and PA can hope to collect a modicum of what we payed in from Soical security all these years. ;) Oh and what eleven said about going back to get your masters while working because with the amount of time you will be working the higher education should help your prospects down the road. Getting used to life in the new job in the new cube farm. Why do people not care about the fact your typing, concentrating, trying to get work done. They feel compelled to include you in their conversations or act like you have been or should have been listening to them and want you to comment on whatever nonsense they've been spouting.

Well that was my silent protest for having to open a seperate thread to complain that I had nothing to complain about. ;) On a serious note, my complaint is 'sometimes life does not seem fare' and is fueled by something I found out last night. I have an old boss and friend whose first wife died very quickly (in less than 6mos) 10+ years back from breast cancer leaving him w/3 kids at the time aged 8, 7, 5. He did later meet another younger beautiful woman whom he married who took his kids as her own and they proceeded to have 2 more children together now aged 6 and 3. She passed away suddenly last week from an anuerysm. Widowed 2x now in a little over 10 years w/5 kids. I really got nothing I should complain about but boy life can sure seem unfare to some at times.

Some changes going on at work, know I should be happy I still have a job but it's not easy. Re-org'd, got a new boss, changed my job and responsibilites, so far the new job outright looks like he thinks and treats me like I am his Beyotch. NICE. I never expected to become that dreaded disgruntled employee but unfortunately I fear I'm there. :wallbash: Know my options just really liked what I was doing before not so much now.

Basement finishing project underway, somehow stepped on a metal sliver that lodged in the heel of my foot. My complaint; no help available this am and forced to do my best side show circus contortionist act to extract it w/o breaking my own leg. Just maybe I should have taken that old Girlfreinds Yoga encouragement more seriously.

Now that typically is not my genre but you know what it's a bit of funky fun that reminds me of classic rick james punk funk. I kinda like it too. :bag: There's my complaint, turning Inky. ;)

Keep that mechanic, a good complaint is all the dishonest mechanics that take you for ride with needless repairs.

I can't remember what it was I wanted to complain about first thing this morning.

Don't let that stop you from going to the xmas party! Wear a hat, come up with a herioc story but don't insult the owner by not attending his employee's party. My complaint today, a group or society that makes people afraid of being themselves for fear of rejection or retribution.

I'm defintely a family holiday kinda guy, however I must complain that this starting the Holiday earlier every year sucks. There are some absolutes and xmas stuff not starting till after Thanksgiving black friday is one of them in my book.

When your playing hockey do you do engage the other team in trash talk ? I would imagine you would be quite good at it. Which leads to my last question how many times a game are people throwing their gloves down with you and do you draw allot of penalties ? Anyway, not retaliating and I'm calling for 2 minutes for roughing on that one or 3rd man in take your pick....
