    I managed to sneak it in yesterday evening between the noon-time rain and night rain. Wasn't even that wet that the mower complained much.

    Complaint: not enough time to ride bikes.

    I would say this too (but not that deal @Norcalsuggested, too much). The problem is someone will offer a Norcal-like deal because they plan on extending him and they're set for GT for ~9 years (assuming he's good). Peg is going to maximize return, which means more than a rental price.

    As discussed in the other Hellebuyck thread, it's unlikely he's going to sign for a short contract, so we either pay a bunch for 1 year, pay a bunch for 1 year + a big$ extension. If Levi didn't look promising, maybe. As it is, a player with a shorter situation (i.e. Gibson but good) would make more sense.

When Eichel was here he got a long-term extension. If he would have waited and become the player that he is now, he would actually be paid more now. The GM was willing to give an extension to Samuelsson sooner rather than later because the organization felt that in the not-too-distant future he would project to be a higher cost player if it signed him at a later time. Both sides in the bargaining setting make their own calculations for what is best for their own respective needs. 

    To be fair, given Dahlin's play at the time of his bridge, I'm not sure if the team would have even offered one. He was not looking like a sure-thing D back then.

    Depends on where you are. In Philly, we'd order stuff at 4PM and it'd be on the doorstep at 7AM. That was when Amazon was doing the gig thing and we lived in a townhouse farm. I assume the early bird got up, picked up all the deliveries since they're all in one place. In Ithaca, it's never that quick, although it's still within two days for most things.

    +1, I'm generally disappointed whenever I have subs that the bread is kinda mush. DiBella's helped Wegman's set up their sub shop, so there's a solid heritage there.

    Primo Hoagies is the best bread of any sub I've even had and probably the best cold cuts too. Focused in Southeast PA, but I see they've been expanding to Pittsburgh, NE PA, Albany NY, and a handful in other parts of the country.

    Sounds very familiar. 

    Who knows what will happen, but this *could* turn out to be a critical signing. Not necessarily for the on-ice play, but imagine having a guy in the room saying, "when I was in Colorado in this exact spot, we did *this* and my name is on the Cup".
