I agree, she was not bad and not too old, but not "young and hot." It was more about her huge ... uh, sign. Yeah, those ... er, that.

6th on this team? Not exactly a compelling argument. I'd still rather have the potential of what Kassian could bring down the road than a guy who might improve our bottom pair.
 -
Since he's an offensive Dman with 0 points in 4 games, you may want to at least let it go until he starts producing. ;)
 -
	Vision's fine; just distracted.

I'm watching the game again this morning on MSG's replay and I still wouldn't have known what the sign said if Rick hadn't said it. :bag:
 -
I think you may be onto something, but more damning was Ennis' lack of celebration. Young kid, first goal of the season, no reaction? Lindy, what have you done?!!
 -
Miller is on skates, right? :nana:

If you did it more than twice a game, then I'm siding with the old ladies. Man, is that annoying.

Along the lines of the question that I asked in the 5'8" defenseman thread: how many of those guys are in our top six forwards or our top pair defensemen; i.e., the guys who are on the ice most of the time? Maybe Rivet? Most of those guys are fourth liners, who occasionally move up to the third line. Gaustad sniffed the top-six once or twice over the last two years, but definitely isn't slotted there. So, even when they are banging bodies during their 5-15 minutes, our team is still soft for the majority of the time. Hopefully, Kassian will work out and be at least a physical presence on the second line, if not the first. However, I agree that we need to make a move to address this concern this year. While he will get his chance at training camp, just like all prospects, Kassian will likely be heading back to the OHL for at least one more year.

By the way, the title should be changed, as NHL.com lists him as 6'3", 210 lbs.
 -
He also said that he was hands down the best checker and best fighter in the draft class (top prospects.)

Good, I've been missing the spin-o-rama since Soupy left! I'm glad that they took him and agree that there was definitely a message in that pick. As I said before, he could end up being "just" a Goose or possibly Mair type player or he could be a Getzlaf. What he won't be is an undersized, finesse third-liner.

And/or it changes automatically with number of post. He'll probably be a third-liner in 16 more posts (100).

Really, you can just say "Sabres and Bills" and be done with it. What more can be said about them than what has already been said? It's not like we waited for this thread to complain about them. I would like to complain about the person who created this year's schedule, specifically as it pertains to the Rangers. No single team should have played 4-5 more games than every other team. They started with two games against the Lightning a week before the season started for everyone else, but Tampa somehow has the same number of games played as we do. They should have had a relatively lighter schedule after that for the first couple of months to get everyone back to being about equal (no more than 2 games played between the top and the bottom.) The Rangers will gloat about having been in first for the whole season when, if fact, if you compare for the same number of GP, they have actually only been in first half the time and at 18 games played actually trail the Bruins and the Penguins. I know it doesn't mean anything, but it's damn annoying.

I think Pommer signing should be immediate grounds for locking the Complaint Thursdays thread!

	Pens won!

Going to a shootout in Pittsburgh. Cool side note: TWSN is showing the Colgate vs Cornell (my alma mater) hockey game right now.
 -
??? NJ got 2, winning in OT. Montreal just tied it up 4-4 in the third. Edit: going to OT in Pittsburgh, so Montreal gets at least 1. Crosschecking, Niittymaki was in goal for the Flyers.
 -
Now I really hate the Flyers
 -
Couldn't hold on for 32 more seconds ...
 -
	Flyers back up 5-4!
 -
	Yes. Thanks.
 -
Still no comments on the fact that we tied it up? I'm "watching" it on my laptop, waiting for some thoughts on Drury's goal, but you'd never know he even did it here.

Briere, Campbell and Staal 2 for 3 (best group) Miller stops all 3! Not bad Buffalo!
