‘“Statistics help, but you can’t really look at that, you can’t judge how a player’s playing by his stat line, there are other things going on in the game. At this point of the year I’m trying my best to contribute like being a plus players, being good defensively, but obviously where you’re scoring goals and providing offense, those things go hand in hand. It starts in your own end, if you’re solid in your own end, the offense can come from that. Right now, I’m getting rewarded for working hard, where this whole year, it’s been tough on the statistics front for myself and a few other guys.”’
