Spencer played four seasons in Buffalo, recording 114 points and 206 PIM in 240 games. Schock took Spencer's number 21 but played only half a season in the blue and gold. When I was in elementary school, my mom took me and my brother to a speech that Spinner was giving at the local highschool. Can't remember what he said, but I did get a poster. Told him we would miss him and he said he would miss Buffalo. Bought him a beer. He was a real down to earth guy. He did not adjust well to life after hockey.
