wjag Posted May 26, 2006 Report Share Posted May 26, 2006 I usually am an optimist and will be more than happy to eat these words tomorrow, but it will be difficult to win with three minor leaguers playing defense. I expect this one to be painful to watch. The Tallinder loss was enormous. I see a lot of play in the Sabres zone. I see rookie mistakes under intense Carolina pressure. I see a strong and relentless forecheck by Carolina on our forwards taking their speed and energy away. An early goal by the Sabres would be a huge boost. We need a magical game from someone tonight. Time for Ryan to steal one for us. Dumont, come out, come out where ever you are.. One good thing from last game that no one has mentioned yet is that we won without scoring the first goal.
