frisky
Not sure if this was linked here or on the main page. If so, please move to appropriate location but I thought it was a good story on Mike Foligno who's a Ducks asst now. Plus, is Cara Foligno that's working with the Sabres his daughter? Ghost of Dwight Drane
Actually....he's in New Jersey now. This is an old story from 2010, but relevant nonetheless. To tell you how down to earth that family is, when he was in Anaheim, he donated an item to the Sabres Alumni event from the Ducks but forgot to send it out. I bid on it and was told it would be there in a few days. Waited a month before I checked back, and when I did, Larry Playfair checked and Foligno said he felt bad he forgot so he'd bring it the next week when the Ducks played in Buffalo. Sure enough....when they visit, I get a plastic bag from a Cal grocery store. In it was a game issued jersey from Teemu Selanne, autographed. Not bad. dudacek
Never really figured out why Foligno hasn't been brought back into the Sabres fold again. Hell of a player in the day and a character guy. It's time for Marcus to step up.
