(Several people asked). Answer: According to a reliable source, TWC's engineering staff is working on carrying the Canadian stations in HD but it probably won't happen until early next year. I live between Philly and Lancaster, PA*, and get a couple duplicate stations (two NBCs and PBSs) due to the proximity. When I lived in Southern MD, the cable carried both the DC and Baltimore stations so we had duplicates for ABC, NBC, CBS, and a couple PBS versions. I will admit a national border probably makes that interesting, but it doesn't surprise me. * Lancaster here is pronounced Lan-cas-TER (although there isn't much emphasis on the 'TER'), unlike the Buffalo pronunciation, LANG-cas-ter.
