All Time Sabre team

If anyone has played NHL 09, you know that there is an all time Montreal team, to celebrate their 100 year anniversary. When you play with them, they have no helmets, they guys look like the actually players. No cigarette in Lafleurs mouth, but its pretty kool, even though I hate them. Who do you think should be on the all Sabre team? Here's my list, probably forget some guys, but here we go. I forget the wings the guys used to play, sorry for the spelling as well.

Line 1

Rene Robert Gilbert Perreault Rick Martin

Line 2

Alex Mogilny Pat Lafontaine Danny Gare

Line 3

Dave Andreychuk Dale Hawerchuk Mike Foligno

Line 4

Craig Ramsey Mike Peca Don Luce

D-Line 1

Mike Ramsey Phil Housley

D-Line 2

Bill Hajt Jim Schoenfeld

D-Line 3

Jay McKee Tim Horton

Goalies

Dominik Hasek

Don Edwards

Coach

Lindy Ruff

I disagree with Tim Horton and Mike Foligno and to a lesser extent, Jay McKee.

How long did Hawerchuck play with Buffalo.. I know he's part of the 500 goal club but I thought he was an older guy when he finally came over to Buffalo.

Rob Ray I think should be added. I know he wasn't a goal scorer but he is one of the most popular sabres of all time.

Doug Bodger perhaps? I don't remember how long he played with Buffalo, but I do remember liking him a lot.

Foligno was a great Sabre, we could use a guy like him right now.

Nice job..

I would substitute Barraso for Edwards

Playfair for Mckee and Korab for Horton..

Barraso was my favorite Sabre of all time..I loved the way he beat on opponents in his crease....Playfair was really more than a fighter..I thought he was going to be a Norris candidate and was developing nicely then he broke his leg in the 83 Bruins series and never quite made it to the level he was on his way to being..

Stats for Hawerchuk, not many Sabres have put up 4 solid years like that.
