nfreeman Posted October 3, 2008 Report Share Posted October 3, 2008 I in no way shape or from could ever envision Jaro being traded this season. If he not their best D-man, he's the next best. I like Spacek too, but he's going to be a UFA after the season. I have heard zero about re-signing him. If he's the key to a trade that brings us a real #2 center with experience and toughness, I have no problem letting him go. This would put Weber into the top 6, which I'm not sure he's ready for, but many here seem to think so. Also, I think Rivet is our best defenseman, and if Teppo is back to where he was in 06-07, he's #2. The other 4 are all roughly equal, IMHO.
