I think it's actually gonna be a tight game. Very hard to win back to back nights, especially in your division. Ottawa didn't play yesterday either, so they're gonna be fresh for us. We basically need 60 minutes this time, there won't be any 5 minutes of stellar play getting us the win

My thoughts. - Peters, get him out, he's huge, but useless. - Hecht, I think he might be better served on Drury's Line, and moving Kotalik up with Briere and Maxim. - Spacek look fantastic. - Our Defense looks really good in general. Their covering their errors and the rebounds in front of the net were taken care of. - Pominville, ready to step up. - Roy. Nice Hustle. - Vanek, needs to get it going. - Altogether we looked a little sloppy, but I can feel the same old Sabres coming through again. And that's a really good thing.

I like to think we light them up tonight. I think Briere goes off. 7-3 Briere 2 goals, 4 points Drury, Vanek, Mair, Roy and Campbell

PLAYOFF HOCKEY BABY.

This game is huge. First, we're riding high. We don't want to be derailed right before Ottawa. Second, it's the leafs. The crowd is 50/50, it's gonna be electric, i'm jealous, I want to go.. too bad I live in Tallahassee, FL. Third, Miller needs a game to really stand up tall. The third period built a foundation, now he needs to add the building. Preferably with lots of walls, brick walls. In front of our net. Fourth, Win for Lindy. The less he has to worry about the Sabres the easier it will be on him. Fifth, You dont go into any game thinking it's okay if you lose. That's a losers mentality.

Even though it wasn't a high stick, Max still commited a penalty, either elbowing or interference, that was definitely a penalty. the Connolly play was clean.
