I don't care if they don't name a captain for the rest of this season, but I think it is embarrassing for them to not name Tuch as a third "A" for the remainder of this one. They gave him an "A" when KO was out, so why the hesitation to do so again? Just another example of the stupid decision making by this organization....they think they're smarter than everybody else, but don't realize how foolish they look. Yet another fail for management.

Did the Sabres and Wings trade uniforms between the 1st and 2nd period? Everything has sucked since....skating, shooting, goaltending, etc.

Too late to impact this season. I hope he has better luck than Muel, but I fear that both are going to be injury prone the rest of their careers.

Meanwhile, nobody in the Buffalo media has the courage to ask HCDG "Hey Don, your goalie got hit twice by opposing players. Why didn't anybody take exception to this and go after the Detroit players...even though you had a big lead?" There are times I genuinely HATE the Sabres.....allowing your goalie to be hit (twice) with no response is completely unforgivable, whether the game is close or not.

Another reason why it is very hard for me to like this team. They don't have to even win for me to like them....they just need to act like they care about each other vs. messing up their hair.

Our forwards collectively lack the ability to carry the puck over the blue line and maintain possession. Offensive zone entries have been bad for quite a while now.

The Sabres lack an elite forward who can carry the puck thru the neutral zone with speed and into the offensive zone while maintaining control/possession. Tage has shown no ability to do so this season. Gotta say Jack Eichel was pretty good at doing this and the Sabres miss that kind of player.

Would not be surprised to see him AND KO back next year....we'll see.

The postgame presser will be the usual softballs from the Buffalo media. In tonight's case, all the questions will be about how well the new guy Byrum played and nothing about the crapshow we saw on the ice.
