  1. He posted better stats the prior year in Rochester in both the regular season and playoffs. Then stunk in the NHL last year when he got an opportunity.
  2. Levi has played worse every year he has been in the NHL. So bad they can't even give him time to try and get adjusted the last 2 years. Until that changes he can't be here.
  3. Average is 12-14 years although younger, relatively healthy people can go 20-30+ years. But in general, life expectancy is likely expected to be 20+ years lower than otherwise would be...unless modern medicine advances enough over that time to mitigate and/or nullify that which is entirely possible. Not necessarily. That is obviously an immediate concern but it can happen at any time really and there are other potential chronic issues related to that always need to be on the lookout for. Also, the immunosuppressives she will be on while needed for the transplant also increase risk for numerous other diseases and issues of other major organs like kidneys, liver, diabetes and routine infections which could become chronic and hard to get rid of.
  4. Because most transplant patients have a far lower life expectancy than a normal person and complications can arise at any time, aka, rejecting the organ.
  5. Haha, hard to win a trade when the guy you traded has scored 50+ and been a perennial high level contributor to a back to back Stanley Cup winning team.
  6. How is it his fault that Levi has regressed every chance he has gotten to show what he can do in the NHL?
  7. I'm in the wrong business...I need to sell stuff to stadiums looking to upgrade and overcharge them by 5x what you could get them yourself.
  8. Maybe they could get Bumper to play Bumper?
  9. Figuring out how not to shoot the puck directly into defenders or wide and actually get them on net would be a pretty great start.
  10. I mean except during the early tank years where the goalies almost cost us from playing so well.
  11. Dunleavy is terrible...Bills/Sabres have to have the worst PBP tandem in pro sports. Sad when we used to have one of the best tandems in Ted Darling/RJ and Van Miller for such a long time. Literally went from 3 Hall Of Famers to trash overnight almost.
  12. The worst is before NFL training camp...after that I don't care as much because at least I have the Bills season to look forward to coming up a whole month before the start of the NHL season.
  13. If a player is good enough to demand one then that's the cost of doing business
  14. My problem with UPL is that he seems to only really be focused when he has something to play for personally. He was really good when he was trying to earn a role on the Sabres full time, and he was really good when he was in a contract year. Outside of that he has been pretty bad, and to me that just says he only really puts in the work when he has something to play for, which is not what I expect from a professional who should want to be their best every game. But this isn't all that uncommon...a lot of players treat it like a job more than something they actually love and only seem to really focus and put the extra work in when they have something to lose or gain personally.
