Peters can't decide what he likes better(I don't know why as it is an easy call)...the press box or the bench. Press Box...great food(free) and view of the game. Plus no need to shower afterward. Bench...hard as rock, problem with splinters in his a$$ and cold as hell sitting by the ice in a state of inactivity. Also no need to shower afterward, because he didn't even break a sweat. ;)

I also heard on WGR that Connolly will not play, but on a positive note...Peters will dress in his place. <_<

I know Vanek is only 22 and hopefully it will sink in sooner than later, but his floating tendencies combined with Lindy who won't tolerate that crap, makes me wonder how Vanek's career in Buffalo will turn out.

-In a game as big as this one was, it's somewhat disappointing to see the Sabres get dominated. It's one thing to play a good game and lose. It's a different story when the effort just wasn't there. It looked like men against boys for most of the game. -I didn't tape the game, but did anybody see Gaustad(I think it was him) get wiped out right next to the Ottawa net with a minute to go. The refs sucked last night. -Miller was great. The result last night should have been closer to the games in Ottawa earlier this season. -Kevin Sylvester made a lame comment during the post game show. When showing a replay of the one Sabre goal and commenting on how it was a weak goal by Emery, Sylvester said "Miller would have made that save". Very homer-like. -Chara is going to command a huge salary as a UFA next year. -One last note...Did Vanek get benched for the 3rd period or did I just not notice him on the ice? GO SABRES!!!!

One other thing pissed me off about last night and I apologize if it has already been discussed... How the hell could the referee not see that Sundin took a dive on the Tallinder penalty call. It was right in front of the ref and was a horrible job of acting by Sundin. FU Mats...why don't you go back to Sweden and finish your career cheap shotting your fellow countrymen in the back of the head.

Nice effort last night by Miller. That save on Tucker was huge. I thought Kalinin played really well in his own end. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that all the Leaf fans go home crying in their beer. Mike Grier what can I say...I called you out a couple of weeks ago and since then you have become possessed. B-) The replay on nhl.com cuts it off, but on the game winning goal, Kotalik had the puck inside his blue line and could have just cleared it and gone to the bench. Instead he made a short pass to Drury, who in turn got it to Grier for the goal. Nice play By Kotalik. PS I only have one wish for next season and that is Buffalo fans gobble up the seats in the lower bowl for season tickets, so I don't have to see thousands of Leaf fans act like they are playing for the Stanley Cup every time they come to Buffalo. I don't care if they end up in the 300's, just not in the 100's where they are on camera the entire game. The only time I was happy with seeing the Leaf fans, was when Tucker got stoned by Miller, they all had their hands up in the air thinking it was a sure goal. :P

I am pretty sure that on WGR this morning, they said that Miller was starting.

Jus caught the last few minutes on the radio. Glad that they got another win, but disappointed that Miller gave up 4 goals. How bad were they? GO SABRES!!!!

That goal by Vanek was a thing of beauty. Another great win for the Sabres and another nail in the Bruiins coffin. Good to see Max going again!!!! #1 overall in the East is not far away...Go Sabres!

Crazy game. I don't think Miller is going down more than he usually does, but he whiffed on at least one of those shots and a couple of others were rang in off the post. Not making excuses for Miller, 5 goals against in 2 periods is downright awful.

Sabres keep rolling. Just can't pick against them. Buffalo 3 Philadelphia 2 in OT.

Exciting game that brought back memories of the 70's when the Sabres could almost score at will. Good to see that on a night when Miller was not at the top of his game, that the Sabres could go toe-to-toe with an offensice machine. My favorite part of a game like this is when WGR replays all of the goals the next morning. It's an RJ festival!! :)
