You can read back through my post history, I've been pretty steadfast with remaining positive about this team. I foolishly bought in to what Adams was doing based on the early returns that we saw late in the 2022/23 season. Since then, it has been an utter failure by GMKA to properly supplement this roster to get them to the next step. He's left these guys to their own devices and there's regression across the board and complete systemic failure. I'm all out of positivity. I'm not even taking them seriously anymore, I tune in to rubberneck the car crash. This franchise is a smoldering heap of failure with no bright horizons. Next step is tuning them out completely which probably isn't far off. Huzzah.

I've always thought the end of the Kruger era was rock bottom. It's like groundhog day.

Missed the first half of the game and turn it on to this pleasant surprise. What are the chances they actually hold this lead? Probably not good, but how funny would it be to end a 9 game skid against the Laffs?

I expressed my doubts when he was hired. It felt like a nostalgia hire. But I held out hope that maybe a vet coach like Lindy could whip these kids into shape. It's quite clear now it was the wrong move. Not saying this is Lindy's fault by any stretch, but he obviously isn't getting through to these guys and I don't see how that changes at this point. It's too late to be early.

It's incomprehensible to me that mostly this same group of players (or at least same core) really looked like an emerging team late in the 2022/23 season. They looked crisp, confident, and were beating actual good teams down the stretch that season. Then last year they collapsed under the weight of expectations and have spiraled even further this season. Now they look completely lost and can't do anything right. This is the risk you take by pinning your hopes to a bunch of kids that are forced to develop together without any real veterans to learn from. There's talent/potential here, but Adams has totally bungled it by doing next to nothing the last two offseasons. Just keep running it back without any significant enhancements to the roster. Bravo.
