  1. They got him from the Oil when they signed Bryz. Maybe Rinne is ready to return from injury or they're trading for another Goaltender.
  2. @TSNBobMcKenzie Waivers today: Kobasew (PIT), McLaren (TOR), Larsen (EDM), Dubnyk (NSH).

  4. LaFontaine leaving is an issue that I frankly do not care about. He had a chance to be the GM, but declined it because he felt that he was unqualified to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities that the job demands at the NHL level. He subsequently hired very well qualified hockey people in the persons of Murray and Patrick. If he later lamented not having more say or the final say after the fact, well too FN bad. Sounds like he was just being a Diva to me. I don't need answers, I've already moved on.
  5. I'm with you guys. The entire notion of questioning this is beyond ridiculous. This is a total non issue.

  10. Under any scenario, neither the Sabres nor LaFontaine is going to look good. Pegula should have delved deeper into the Islanders sudden resignation from several years ago before giving his full trust to Patty. Oh well, too damn late now. Move the Tank along and let's get to the rebuilding of the on ice product (via drafting/trading) that I believe is in the very capable hands of Murray, Patrick, et al.
