Reading your posts for awhile now, you take criticism of the team very personally… Moreso than any other poster it seems to me… You aren’t a player, a relative or an employee by chance? Of course you couldn’t say if you are… Not hard to disagree without being disagreeable… Lot of strong personalities and opinions on this message board… The Sabres bring out the best and worst in us at times… Here’s the thing… We’re all fans… Not long ago one among us (can’t recall who) put it best… “Disrespect the post, not the poster.” Just my opinion.

KA and DG finished strong last season… Showed what the team can do… Raised expectations for this season… May end up breaking hearts again with a late season run and a just miss finish. Should at least be entertaining hockey. UPL can see to it.

Power 59 GP 32 Hits Benson 54 GP 17 Hits Couple notes… 18 yr old Benson has maybe 25% fewer minutes TOI than Power. 21 yr old Power has 8” and 50 lbs. on Benson Sabres playing a more physical heavy style as a team last few weeks… Regardless of his game style, Power could stand to step it up a bit… Help the others set the tone early in games. Just my opinion.

We have five away games coming up, capped by a four game West Coast trip… Will be mighty impressive if we are still statistically alive after we get home.

Ok… Adams is a nice guy… with a soft heart for his players… We get it, Harrington. Think we all can agree on that… They don’t seem to reciprocate the love with their play every game… only with their gratitude after they are gone?… Really?… Why is that? Why after three years… now going on four years? Adams press conference was the consequence of another disappointing season, or so he explained. Nice guy that he is. And we know what they say about nice guys... Yeah… That cliche. So, next year. For sure. Personally, I am so over the Adams is a nice guy narrative. Harrington should be, too. Time for Adams to deliver a playoff team. Period.

Dahlin 23 yrs old… (will be 24 in April) listed as 6’3” 204 lbs… Power is 21 yrs old… (will be 22 in Nov) listed as 6’6” 221 lbs… About done growing. Maybe can add another 10-15 lbs with offseason weight training without sacrificing speed… A big part of his game. Still won’t make him a more aggressive checker. More a playing style choice by him, imo.

Hater was too strong a word… but it was the label @Crusader1969 used in his question… Power was thrown into the deep end and is learning… I’m not a fan because the kid has no physical game despite his size advantage… Today for example, our team had 40 Hits and our team physicality was largely responsible for slowing down a faster and more explosive Oiler team… D-man Hits: Dahlin 7 Jokiharju 4 Byram 4 Bryson 0 Power 0 Bryson played 14 mins… Power played 23 mins… Maybe I missed it, but have yet to see this kid come to the defense of a teammate despite his size… Power is not an intimidating personality and displays no aggression, and you can’t coach it… So, I’ll watch his development…
