He went in for Cederqvist for two games, but was back in the press box last night.

It's not all on Subban, but he hasn't been sharp the past 3 games. And last night was the third game in a row where the Amerks disappeared after the first 5 minutes of the game. There's a lot of blame to go around, that's for sure.

Used to be Seiling, but he's not there anymore. I think Stevens ate him. Well it was a nice run Rochester. But your season is all but over. Not nearly enough offense against a good physical defense and Subban is not nearly consistent enough to be a regular starter.

I can't agree with you more. The officiating was an abomination of how to reg a game. And the non-call on the puck over the glass was just another absolute joke. That is always 100% a penalty.

Unfortunately tonight's game wasn't officiated. It was a free for all for the bigger team. Maybe they are behind on their new "Giant Center" arena payments and need all the revenue they can get to still be able to support an AHL team.

Just the fact that Vegas has to play another game is music to my ears. I'm sure the Panthers are enjoying watching this out by the pool.

I'm just being an ass because when I played when I was young, I was a physical player, but never played dirty. I just hated being referred to as a "tough guy". Back then it basically meant "goon". That was not me whatsoever. You get into one fight, and you're labeled for life.

It's easy. Watch how those teams play along the boards and in front of their goalie. Win puck battles and keep your goalie clean. Everything the Sabres aren't good at yet.

Physicality doesn't just mean fighting or hitting. If you know hockey, you can be very physical and not take a penalty. Not sure why so many think the word "physical" always means fighting or hitting.

"Refs you suck" chant was just heard for the 6th or 7th time. This might be the most incompetent reffed game I've seen in a long while.

Amerks aren't beating this team. Hershey is too big and physical. Just like the NHL, when it comes to the playoffs, size and physicality, more than not, trumps speed and finesse. Maybe the Sabres will recognize that someday. I really hope I'm wrong, but it's not looking good right now. And I'm 100% convinced Appert was told to put Savoie in the lineup.

Exactly what they did in game 2. In game 1, Hershey wasn't ready for the Amerks speed. They have adjusted well, Rochester not so much. As PTR just said, the Bears defense is no joke and they've adjusted.

Amerks had no fire tonight. They almost looked content going home with a split. Hershey defense shut them down. The Bears were also much more physical tonight. Roch had no answers. Hopefully just a lull in the midst of a long playoff run. Savoie was pretty much invisible all night as well. Not sure why Appert put him in the lineup. Why change anything when you're on an 8 game roll?
