  1. Video coaching coming in to play on all levels in Sabres organization? Maybe a fortnite? Coaching program ?
  2. I tend to agree here with weave. Hoping the depth pool gets better.
  3. This was really cool.
  4. I don't know, I'll ask her the next time I get a chance.
  5. Trish says she can get the virus again. I did ask her if she could get pictures of her lung x-rays. She's a little pissed and upset about the lung damage, to say the least. Might not have been a good time to ask her.
  6. My sister-in-law and her 2 children are covid negative. 3 tests in the past 2 weeks. So, all 3 tested positive awhile back, Trish is a nurse, she is back working the covid wing. All three had x-rays on their lungs throughout their ordeal, Trish and her son show extensive permanent lung damage, they are now on some type of inhaler. The daughter surprisingly does not. All 3 are now taking Hydroxiquarquine, Trish tells me every Doctor she knows up at St. Joseph's is quietly telling the staff to do so before they start working with covid patients.
  7. I don't honestly know. I only know he was allowed to stay after the court date to be honest.
  8. Same thing happened to my companies electrical engineer, he's been here 5 years from England. Last month he was denied, went the same route as the Pegulas and got renewed. Not sure if it's the same circumstances, but the owner told us it was 10 minu5es in court and done.
  9. So, I've been extremely busy with a home make over. The front yard had 5 pine trees, 2 by driveway, 3 on opposite side of front yard, all 35'-40' tall. They are gone, stumps and all. Took the trees down myself, paid S&S tree service $700 to grind the stumps and get rid of the brush that was left over. Figure I needed a small yard horse, since I have a large lot on a pretty big retention pond in Wheatfield. So I went out and bought an old Bobcat M-371 mini skidsteer. Here she is:
  10. From time to time I read what I can on the bolded. Me personally, have shown interest in single payer system, removing the employer / employee choice scenario altogether. I've read a multitude of pros and cons on it, but, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, who looked at it as a National Security as well as a comfort of life and longevity issue, to maintain the health of the population (go figure, SHAEF, a man of the military who had seen more than his share of death would understand it's overall importance on several levels), Johnson and yes, even Nixon wanted to see something done on health care. To bad the legislative side couldn't get their own greed or narrowmindedness out of the way. But, as I was saying, I read on this from time to time and I do have some questions, not for the patients/clients of such a system, but more in point, to individuals such as you Brawndo, those that are employees of such a system. Specifically, to maintain cost controls there would most assuredly have to be wage caps within the industry, no? And if that is the case, how is the supply chain of equipment for the medical field to be handled? Are we to nationalize all medical equipment, from PPE to sophisticated medical machinery production? If so there would certainly be wage caps on those production facilities as well, no? And most certainly pharmaceuticals would have to fall under a government controlled system as a production supply side scenario, very terrifying I am sure, especially for those on blood pressure medication and other key life extending medications. Then there is the very real concern of allowing government to run health care. Historically speaking, the United States government hasn't really run any financial foundational national program with any success for a various degree of reasons, the most prominent being using such national programs as financial leveraging or as a tool to push a larger agenda, and that goes on almost all of the ideologies that do so. So, while I would like to see resolution to this situation nationally, I have very real concerns about a few of the issues that may or will arise from such. Just my 2 penny's is all.
  11. Simple, I did not submit for it.
  12. Eligible but declined to accept.
  13. Not sure on the 15 yr old (Meadow). Mrs. told me an hour ago. The mom (my wife's sister) seems to be holding up. She's 40, so maybe that helps? But I guess Meadow has the cough and fever. Same with her older sister, who is quarantined at home for now. One odd thing, I guess it makes sense though, but once Trish (the mom) went in to the room at Children's with Meadow, she wasn't allowed to leave until they both transfer in the morning. I wonder if that's policy.
  14. My sister-in-law and niece are covid-19 positive. She's a nurse, her daughter is 15, one of her other daughters, 20, has symptoms, awaiting results on her. The 15 yr old is currently up at Children's, she's being transferred tomorrow to another hospital.
  15. OMFG...... This is horrible news. I don't know if I can take 5 more years on top of what he has left, which is what? 1 more year on his current contract, correct? That means 6 more years of this? ?
  16. Has there been any news on the future for Botterill?
  17. Nothing wrong with AHL depth, even on an NHL contract, in case we get that depleted. But, I also share concerns with those that are stating it's not nearly enough for the big club.
  18. I 100% agree with you. That's really all I have.
  19. And to think, I started that first covid thread and people didn't take it seriously. I even tried a little humor with those that didn't, in this thread, and still, the condemnation came. This'll be my last post on the subject, the fact is, people were and are dying. Whether it has seasonality or not, whether it can be eradicated, remains to be seen as of yet. But the alarm I was sounding early, as a non medical individual, was based on conversations I was and still am having to date. Some will mock, some with disdain, all of that falls to the way side. People are dying, that is a fact. See y'all in the hockey threads, look forward to some Bills talk as well. In the meantime, I still have to go to work ? .
  20. I just found it interesting nfreeman, rest assured, I'm not drinking the kool-aid.
  21. And my reproduction line wasn't a joke? That was obvious to me, but if not you, then I apologize. I openly stated I ignored the "plot" or "story" line of the article and found interesting facts in the read. And there are other writings out there that have some facts in them as well. Meaning, I ignored the Gates/Obama are destroying the world scenario. I thought when I said I ignored the "story plot line" that was obvious, apparently it wasn't. Since Ebola was not a global pandemic, I never looked at it. Swine Flu I knew to be out of the US. Mers I knew as well. SARS yes. I should have included beyond 2003. https://www.history.com/news/china-epicenter-of-1918-flu-pandemic-historian-says
  22. I don't read in to the plot line, I merely check the individual fact references to see if there is any truth to them. But, I appreciate your concern for my reproductive history. I have 4 children, 2 boys, 2 girls, ranging in age from 28 to 15. If that truly scares you, I fear for you. Anyone who attempts to minimize the ability of others to ask questions or share some information is truly a scary individual. Please tell me you've never reproduced.
  23. Many of them are in fact, interesting reads Huck. Something I find myself asking over and over again is why do these global pandemics seem to consistently appear from out of the Wuhan to Hong Kong central China Corridor since 2003, yet, before that year, there is nothing I can find on these type of virus's on any serious note. To myself in any event, that is sending red flags up all over the place in my mind. I'm not saying these aren't random events, but in all of these cases, there is some circumstantial evidence to warrant further investigation of the situation. Something's not adding up here IMHO.
  24. I'm with ya, I'm not sweating it myself, i'll be 50 in November, but I'm a smoker (ya, ya, I know lol) but I also work outdoors a great deal, climb steel, stay fairly active, outside of a light dose of recently prescribed blood pressure pills, I'll be just fine. But, my mom, 72, COPD, emphysema and had a quadruple bi-pass 4 years ago, yea, I'm definitely more than concerned. And it's because of that unique situation that I think many may feel the same way. I know she's definitely freaked out by the virus itself and what it could do. So some of the reactions, at least in those cases that face a higher risk, are more than understandable. And in this nation, there are a lot of elderly, and a lot of pre=existing conditions.
