I like that idea if you can pull it off.

Despite my previous statements, I approve of this change. Good work.

There is always that one guy who throws a big turd into the punch bowl.

Thanks for everything Scott.
According to the Guinness Book of World Record's, I was the third person to ever say "Fire Botterill", clocking in 45.23 seconds after his hiring was announced.

I hate it already.

I'd like to see:
Sheary - Eichel - Thompson
ERod - Casey - Reino
Sobotka - Berglund - KO
CJ Smith - Zemgus - Baptiste
(Probably a bit ambitious for Thompson though. Ideally KO would return to peak form and earn that #1 RW spot.)
Pretty good. My changes in bold:
Sheary - Eichel - Reinhart
ERod - Casey - KO/ideally a quality FA or Trade acquisition
Sobotka - Berglund - KO (if not on 2nd line)/Thompson/Baptiste in an emergency
CJ Smith - Zemgus - Baptiste/Pominville in a Plan Z scenario.

Who pointed the finger at Jack? Strickland or O'Reilly?
Strickland. Right after he said Berglund was about as a great a guy to have (he said he literally has never heard a bad thing about from ANY teammate, past or present), he hinted that there has been more than one veteran Sabre who did not get on well with Eichel.

Sabres app just reported that Wilson has been resigned for 2 yrs.

Conversely, is WGR doing any kind of live coverage today?

Many others popped up as well, Asplund was everywhere and Pekar was playing the role of Tournament Marchand without licking anyone
Funny you should mention that:

From another Nylander Watch thread:
https://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/25517-alex-nylander-watch-thread-whats-up-with-him/?p=1017644
GMTM wanted him to have a similar experience that Jack did with Moulson. He arranged for Alex to live with the O’Reilly’s in Rochester last year. Apparently Alex did not have a drivers license and the he and his wife got sick of chauffeuring him around and really let him know that. In addition he was consistently tasked as one of designated individuals to clean the team bus after long road trips often at 2 or 3 in the morning. The reports were that Cal did very little to mentor him and adopted the IDGAF Attitude the rest of the Amerks Organization had and that Alex was adversely affected by this.

This has gone through so many people, that I doubt it's reliable, so be warned. And it's not specifically about a ROR trade, but I'm still posting it here. A poster on hf who supposedly ubered for a London Jr. Knights worker said that ROR told him on a golf course that he's shocked at how unorganized/unaccountable our entire franchise is, noting one example of no curfew leading to players being out until 6AM the night before the game in Vegas.
This could be complete nonsense but it feeds into an underlying worry that hasn't gone away since probably 2011. We're probably still a complete joke at every level, not just on the ice.
The next coach we inevitably hire in the next year or two had better be dictatorial as far as I'm concerned
Wasn't Bylsma alleged to be a complete dictator? And the players still rebelled?

Looking forward to watching Tavares face off against his former team on the 28th. ;)

Not that it'll happen but I'd do something that would make the news if JBOTs trades that pick....

1.) Stop making resolutions
B.) Be more consistent.
4.) Learn how to count.

A Drury and an O'reilly? Can yo imagine the irrational exhuberance?
Buffalo loves its nostalgia. I'm sure there'd be a subsection who would welcome draft pick Aaron Maybin Jr. with open arms.
Regardless with what happens with ROR, if I drafted this O'Reilly kid from Wisconsin, I'd force him to wear #90 in Rochester/Cincinnati just to prove a point.
Eichel switching to #9 (OFFICIAL)
