Serious question for cord-cutters:  if you're already paying for internet service at home, isn't cable TV as an add-on to your internet bill the cheapest TV option?  Every time I look into it, that is the case for me.

We have youtubetv and the disney+ package with hulu and espn.

Its 65 for YouTubetv and i think 12 for the disney package.

I also have paramount+ but only until the tv show evil is over, so i wont count it since its paramount+ exclusive

Our internet with all fees is 80 a month. We have pretty good speeds, we could get cheaper if we wanted

So for 77 for YouTubetv and Disney and 80 is 157 all in.

When we had cable with internet through verizon it was 225 per month for 2 tvs, but only one of them having dvr.

Its a decent difference but the gap is definitely shrinking. when we first switched we were saving 125 a month.

We get a lot less channels but most are junk anyway that we didn't watch. Honestly if it wasn't for my wife watching nfl, we could probably get away with just the hulu bundle and watch every show the next day instead of live. I believe every show we watch is on hulu the next day.

We had the playstation tv before YouTube tv and it was a lot better. That is closed now though

  2. I watched the kraken preseason game last night. Well, a period of it. I have to say the biggest thing i miss is the ability to start it early to watch the pregame stuff.

Also, the kraken play by play guy is horrible. i was thinking of trying to watch them as my 2nd team. i think its neat to watch from the beginning of a team

99.999 chance of survival doesn’t get improved. It only lasts less than a year. It’s a money grab not science. Nobody is stopping the severely obese, but mandating is a money grab.

If someone is obese, they arent spreading it to old folks and having it kill them. Talking about stopping obesity when talking about stopping covid are 2 completely separate things and have no logical comparison.

I honestly don't understand why people try to use it as an argument

I’ll take “Things that never happened” for $800, Alex.

So, you cite CDC flu stats to bolster your argument but discredit CDC stats that don’t support your argument?

Edit to add-  there is a 20% increase in payouts to hospitals for covid related treatment related to the fact that Covid care is much more costly, but only for Medicaid and uninsured patients.  It is patently untrue that hospitals were getting $33k from the feds every time a patient was coded with Covid.

I definitely believe the numbers have being inflated. You have people who get 2 tests to verify. And the deaths are probably also being inflated. I read that there was a guy that died of alcohol poison but he had covid, so it was counted as a covid death.

Of course all of my information is from the internet so im sure most of it is made up.

However I will say with 100% certainty that covid has been used as a political tool since it started. that is not something made up on the internet, its fact. Both sides are guilty of it

Quickly getting access to monoclonal antibody therapy when you’re the fully vaccinated, asymptomatic Governor of Texas shows just how anxious and scared @GregAbbott_TX actually is of a virus that he constantly downplays.

So a person getting a recognized treatment for a potentially deadly virus is also frowned upon because they disagree with his politics?

I hate politics and refuse to get sucked in, but what is going on anymore in this country.

I dont condone what he does as a politician but he is still a person that deserves treatment if available.

Whats next, saying a person who has not been vaccinated is not allowed treatment because it could have been prevented

Haha. Not quite close enough. The le car version is lacking the rear engine turbo with 300hp.

There was a red turbo2 one in Florida for sale a couple years ago. i think it was 15k or something, but it looked rough. I think it was a gray market car.

I also saw an autobianchi abarth for sale on ebay for the 20k. Perfect shape. I wish I had an extra 20k laying around. i would have snatched it right up

i got my 2nd shot on march 12th. i have developed a side effect that has not gone away. i get these bumps on my skin that look like very large mosquito bites. they really hurt when i touch it. i never seem to get more than 1 at a time, and they seem to last a few days or so and then they go away for a while and come back randomly in a different spot. i never had this prior to the vaccine. they dont have any gross liquid or anything inside of them, just a hard bump that goes away on its own. they dont really bother me enough to go to the skin doctor, and with it being so hard to get an appointment quickly, there is no guarantee that when they happen when my appointment rolls around.

i found online this is listed as a very rare side effect of the vaccine.

with that said, i am still glad i got the vaccine and having the sense of truly being protected...vs a $0.01 cent paper mask that really isnt offering me any real protection.
