If Johnson is that crappy of a prospect then whatever KA wants to do is fine. I would imagine they know more about his worth then us.

I get the ELC burning of a year is a disadvantage but in the big picture I don't think it matters that much. If he plays 3rd pairing, he is not going to cost too much with his first RFA. If something crazy happens with him and he's burning it up, will that be bad? You either pay him or trade him.
He'll only have a 2-year window to show what his initial worth is. He's going to be 22 years old by camp. What's the difference if he would have signed last year and burned a year down in Rochester? If signing him now gets him signed, do it. It's better than him moving on to another team. Â

Casey is growing both in his game and body. He's stepped up to the challenge this year and definitely can continue to improve. A couple more pounds of muscle added this summer won't do him no harm. I'm happy for the young man.

Boys will see in intermission that the Panthers and Penguins are winning. They got to focus and just play for a win.
Levi is playing well, and the team needs to play these last games out.

It would be nice if one of the secondary scorer's net one early in the 3rd. The boys got to let it all out and hope Levi can hold the fort.
