The only problem that I have is that it is usually impossible to change his opinion/ he sometimes doesn't seem to listen to what you are saying and he seems to think Pat Mahomes is even better than the legendary Casey Mittelstadt. Other than that, he is a good poster with interesting takes.

This isn't necksarilly true. If the Eagles had no idea the Watkins trade was happening, the Bills could have been saying that if we do this trade, we will be really strapped at CB, so you have to throw in something on the side. Also, the Eagles could have been very desperate for a corner.How is that not true? I never said we traded Darby for Gaines and a pick either. We traded Darby for Matthews and a 3rd. That objectively means that both the Bills and the Eagles agreed that Darby was worth more than Matthews and in order to even the value out Philly had to add a 3rd round pick that won't be able to play for Buffalo until 2018 at the earliest. The Bills are knowingly taking a hit to their team for the 2017 season in exchange for the hope that they get that value back in 2018 and beyond.
I don't your question at all either because it doesn't make sense. How would we trade Watkins to LA for Darby? LA doesn't have Darby and never did. We had Darby and traded him to Philly. I think you may have the 2 trades confused.
Buffalo traded Darby to Philly for Matthews and a 3rd.
Buffalo traded Watkins and a 6th to LA for Gaines and a 2nd.

If Rex is conservative, then Doug Marrone definitely is. Marrone said that ideally, there are 0 pass attempts in a game.There is a whole lot of room between preseason is meaningless and the idea that I take meaning out of every snap. You created a binary world where those are the two choices and I am explaining there is a lot of middle ground between those.
Turk Schonert got fired in preseason when it was apparent he had no clue. I expected little from the new Bills offense and expected a step back so limited preseason viewing did not create the opinion. It only did not invalidate it.
It can work to a degree. See Doug Marrone. I would prefer a more creative and innovative coach. And Rex was not conservative?! He wanted to run the ball every play if he could.

I want them to trade Shady and Matthews. Keep the defense and Oline so that they tank effectively, but next year could come in and have a new QB, Wrs, Rb, Also, I would be fine with trading Clay. Put Peterman in at Qb and see what you've got.

Gaines really isn't much bigger than Darby. Unfortunately both Gaines and Matthews are in the last year of their contracts as well, and may not stay.Watkins and Matthews are very similar IMO.
Gaines is bigger and much more physical than Darby.
And they net picks.
Not terrible, considering Watkins was going to walk away after this season anyway.
I find it interesting how they executed these two deals simultaneously. Wonder if the Rams and Eagles knew about the other trade.

^^^^^^I really like the second idea, but don't care for the first. We could also move Guhle up to take Bogo's spot. The only problem with that roster is the 4th line. it is TERRIBLE.
My preffered lineup would probably look like this:
Pouliout-Eichell-Okposo
Duchene-ROR-Babtiste?
Kane-Reinhart-Pomminstein
Moulson-Girgesons-Fasching

Girgensons-Larsson-Moulson/Fasching
I would like to sign Vanek and have him take Pouliot's spot, and slide Pouliout down to Bailey's spot. If Nylander was truly ready, he could work as the 2nd line LW instead of signing Vanek.
