Mittlestadt and Thompson should probably go down. Especially if this season starts sinking as it already has. Give it a year and replace 4-5 spots in the line up with the kids next year. If Rochester turns elite, it's a matter of time until we get good. I said the same thing back in the early 2000's when the Amerks were good and produced a lot of starters off that team.

I wanted Gallant last time around when he became available. He did wonders in Florida and look what he did with Vegas. We didn’t even consider him if I remember right.

Disco Dan had a great PP at least. Housely is simply unable to build this team in any way thus far.

This truly has been the darkest of decades for Buffalo sports. The common thread for both teams is endless inept offenses.

Need to start scoring goals and getting points. It doesn’t take long to sink in the standings. A few bad weeks and your out of contention. Don’t look better than last year.

It’s quite shocking. Montreal does even have a true #1 center, and yet produce more than our supposed studs. Mittelstadt is virtually invisible all year. Eichel invisible for nearly 3 games. Wingers can’t score either.

We are not even competitive 2 games in a row.

It’s hard to believe Montreal and Ottawa look better than us. Our offense is still just as inept as last year.

I think Jack is similar to MacKinnon. Mac did not start becoming dominant until his 5th year. Jack is ahead of him in their first 3 comparative seasons with less games played. I think a few of the kids coming will translate into scorers plus Dahlin will develop. This is the first upward trend year we had in a while. I expect a up and down year with eventual progress I hope. It all depends on Housley.
