2 hours and 42 minutes... the anticipation is killing me and making me thirsty. Trying to hold out until game time so I’m not trashed and passed out. It just occurred to me... I will be in Europe for work for the next 10 days starting tomorrow night. I couldn’t have planned this trip better for the NHL break. Kudos to me.

This is going to be a late one but I’m all in. I like getting to watch the west coast players that we rarely see. Canuck’s top line is going to be a handful. I hope PH has them ready from puck drop. Full 60 tonight! Go Sabres!

I’d like to add to my post above... I think tomorrow could impact the Calder race quite a bit. You know people are going to be watching this one for that reason alone. If PH has a hairy pair, he’ll put Dahlin out there against Pettersson all night long and let the rookies settle the debate. If Dahlin keeps him off the scoresheet and gets a point or two I think he could become the front runner. The opposite is completely realistic as well. Go Sabres!

Would RNH solve our 2C issue? Or is he another Samson? I’d like to see Scandella sent somewhere for something. Maybe another player that needs fresh scenery.

I love Dahlin but you cannot deny what Pettersson is doing in Vancouver. Tomorrow will be a fun one to watch. Of course, my thoughts could change if Dahlin finishes the year tearing it up. Glad he’s on our team.

I have a theory (it’s simple and it’s out there) ... Mother Earth is hooking up with one of the Hockey gods (probably Howe since he’s fresh on the scene and has rippling abs). She complains about being violated by this guy Terry Pegula. The Hockey god decides a lifetime of suckage by the Sabres is a fitting punishment for the owner and fans. He understands that if he provides a little hope along the way (10 game win streaks, Dahlin, Skinner, etc.) that the return to suckage will be all the more painful and torturous. Anyone else got more plausible theory?
