  1. Zamboni guy is not going to be happy about that. Have you ever seen the mess that makes?
  2. ^ Shutout the SJS on Tuesday
  3. Game night! Let’s go Sabres!
  4. I was thinking the same thing! If that line can contribute 20-30 “GOL’s” this season we’ll be sitting pretty.
  5. I’m happy for Larry. His line has played great. Nice they got rewarded.
  6. This team has some very solid players... Barkov, Hoffman, Bobrovsky, Ekblad, Troecheck and landed Q as coach. I would put this Panther's team on the up and up. Can they fill the stands? no, but I would not classify these guys as irrelevant or bleh.
  7. This should be another good test for the Sabres. Florida has had their number. Is Hutts back in net? LET'S GO BUFFALO! beer

Yes, it's been driving me nuts. I thought it was my google chromecast. The NHL app seems to perform better when I watch on my iPad but as soon as I project it starts to lag.
  9. That goal has them buzzing now. VO is an absolute machine. This is fun to watch.
  10. How many more games does Vlad get before Head Coach Ralph Krueger is forced to adjust the lines? 10... 20? I would think Erod or Tage would give us more scoring prowess on the 2nd line. I thought about KO but he seems to be playing well on the 4th line with Larry & Z. He has a bit more jump in his step this season (a least to my eye).
  11. I hope Dahlin smokes Domi in the corner and then gives him the Swedish meatballs (Scandinavian for tea baggin).
  12. Flag, it's a great post. Money puck. I think it will be important to give time to Olofsson-Eichel-Reinhart and Skinner-Johansson-Soboka before we rush back to Skinner-Eichel-Reinhart (1-dimensional). I have to believe that two capable lines will be more beneficial in the long run. Skinner can drive the 2nd line. I don't see Olofsson being able to do that if you switched he and Skinner. Are there any stats on drawing penalties? As discussed above, this team is going to thrive on the PP. This could be another benefit to splitting up Eichel and Skinner on separate lines because they both are very capable of drawing penalties.
  13. Jack's points will come as the season plays out. I fully expect him to be in the top 20 by year end. All these early season standouts will fall back to earth.... except for Dahlin. He will continue to produce at a 1.67 ppg pace ?
  14. I'm not going to complain with Kinkaide instead of Price. Sabres need to clean-up their passing from Monday night. If they play like they did against Pens and NJD, I think we come away with a win. I have to say that it's been really fun watching Dahlin come into his game at the start of this season. At 19, he's a point generating machine. If he keeps this up, he'll be in the Norris conversation for sure. Olofsson is also something special too. What a lethal shot this guy has. If defenses start keying on him it should only open things up for Jack (esp. on the PP). Let's go BUFFALO! beer
  15. They are getting outworked and looking sloppy doing it. Passing is very poor tonight. Need to clean this up.
  16. I hope the Sabres handle adversity better than us fans ?
  17. The CBJ pressure is causing some poor passing. This is a good test.
  18. Is it me or is the ice sh!t? Seems like Sabres having a lot of trouble.
  19. I was listening to spitting chiclets on my car ride home and they said the CBJ’s looked bad in their game against the Pens. I guess they started taking bad penalties/cheap shots once the score got out of hand. Let’s hope the Sabres come out rolling and put them on their heels. This is a very winnable game. Go Sabres!
  20. Oh and hats off to the organization and that wonderful home opener celebration. It was awesome to see that many former captains on the ice before the game AND to have RJ as the MC was special. Thanks Pegulas!
