I think we are more on track for 2yrs, but I also can see a real shot at the wildcard spot. For me though I won't be that upset at missing the playoffs, if I see an improvement from last year and real development of our players in Rochester.

Kane was a little snake-bitten last season but IMHO is much more noticeable on the ice and difficult to play against than Okposo. I would rather see him stay than being sent away under-valued in a trade.
Agreed.

Bottom six and I'm okay with Mcginn.

From Adrian Dater
I checked with people close to Landeskog and they don't think he's in play on any trade
I was thinking if it was anybody it would be Dushene not Landeskog. Also makes that supposed trade a lot more balanced.

It just makes me glad to know we have GMTM, because we could have one of these other fools.

yes, yes it did... Hall for Adam Larsson straight up, Shea Weber for PK Subban straight up, and Stamkos is re-signing in TB straight up
Man I get Stamkos staying in TB, but the other two are just mind blowing!
-
So in the last 10 minutes, Taylor Hall traded for a defender, Subban swapped for Shea Weber, and Stamkos is staying in TB... just an epic 10minutes
Did all this really happen? If so what a ten minutes.

Hossa?
That's what I was thinking. He went to Detroit first and lost, right? Then the next season went to Chicago and got the long term deal. But I could totally be remembering this wrong.

Glad we are not on Okposo list. Don't need another one of JT' s wingers. Especially after having pretty major eye surgery.

Murray says Stamkos is a center and only a center.
My lines with the way the team sits today and signing Stamkos. First line RoR/Eichel/Ennis line two would be Kane/Stamkos/Reinhart. IMO RoR was always going to play on Jack's wing with or without a signing of Stamkos. The only weak spot on those two lines is Ennis. Hopefully Vesey signs and takes that spot. Line two I feel could be special. Just imagine the play making ability of Stamkos and Reinhart matched up with Kane's scoring ability. But I'm not interested in paying 12mill to get him

What happened with the sonny milano trade they announced at the beginning of the draft?
-
Don't know much about him, but 4g 23a and +27 is pretty good freshman season.

Great pick!

I hate Edmonton!!! Took my guy. Damn Benson now an oiler.

The question is what hockey fan actually listens to U2?

I would die if GMTM was just walking around talking to every GM just to ###### with rumor Twitter.
Love it... such a GMTM thing to do.

Just thinking... what about Pysk+Baptise( cause he played with Mcdavid )+8 for Yak and 4. Not saying I would do this, but I would think about it.

Hearing Sabres might have some interest in Yakupov for his speed and low money ($2.5 mil)
Mike Harrington @BNHarrington 3m3 minutes ago
Can confirm @NHLbyMatty report that #Sabres have been kicking tires on Nail Yakupov. #Oilers
Could this be a part of a bigger deal that includes swapping picks 4 and 8?

I'm down for a third

If CBJ is trading it better be to us.

I needs news dammit!
I know right! Seems way to quiet.

As someone who is also very reluctant to give up #8, the question has to be asked: how are you going to add a top-4 LHD cheaper? Or, if you are okay with the price but not the player, what team is looking to trade a LHD who is clearly better than Fowler?
My thought is I would rather keep what we have for now. I'm just not willing to overpay for Fowler just because he is the only LHD on the market. If they want two of the forwards that have been suggested and a third round pick then fine, but anymore than that and they can kick rocks.
What Is Buffalo's Next Move?

For me there are plenty of players that should be moved or at least in a couple of cases bought out. My list is Folingo, Moulson, Franson, Gorges, and Gionta. Depending on how they bounce back I could put Gus and Ennis on that list too. IMO Nylander, Bailey, Hudson, Nelson, Guhle, and possibly Carrier are going to be ready sooner rather than later for the league. So we have to start making room.
