  1. Just expect Pegula to hire as first time GM who has no pedigree. Then that GM will retool the roster in his vision which will take, at just 2-5 years to work. That IF right decisions are made.
  2. Who? Who would the put in as GM? Probably another dirt time GM. Then we will have to sit and wait for his vision to develop. It’s a vicious circle
  3. Basically the same staff except for the heir apparent
  4. Power actually played defense. After he got hit burned
  5. lol with all the scrums and hits in the first. πŸ˜‚
  6. Same. I seriously feel bad that I brought up my son to be a Buffalo sports fan. He’s an adult now and I have apologized to him πŸ˜‚
  7. I know it sucks but The Canadians feed is work and I’m currently streaming the lightning/panthers game. i so wanted to watch all the great highlights and duffer being annoying optimistic when we all know the game is over. πŸ˜‚ it’s back on now πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  8. Buffalo sports are cursed. Goes back to the 4 Super Bowl loses
  9. Ok did the Sabres cut ESPN + out of the budget? I just lost the MSG feed on the ESPN+ app
  10. @Pimlach why hasn’t Lindy pulled Reimer to wake the team up?
  11. I’m glad I’m at work tonight. Just think they had to drag the Bills into this mess to get people into the arena tomorrow.
  12. True. No doubt the off season is the time to work trades. We’ll see what happens in the summer
  13. Sounds like that is the plan. What the plan next season when they’re out of it in March? Honestly I don’t disagree with Adams on this. We all know he needs league roster players. The problem is, he has a very hard getting these players who β€œwant to be a Buffalo Sabre” and willing to buy in on whatever his plan is. This is a requirement for Adams.
  14. I agree. He has a plan πŸ™„ True
  15. Adams basically said that for this season and look at where they are. The answer is in the room πŸ™„
  16. my idea of near term is months to a couple years. When he cut costs he didn’t have the Bills investors and was funding it all himself (the overrun). I’m sure he was expecting to not recoup that money for years. Now that he has the investors, that should ease his burden tremendously. I’m hoping (not holding my breath) that he starts to invest more money into the Sabres now that he isn’t funding both teams completely out of his own pocket.
  17. Why do you think it was about near term finances? I’m convinced that the cost cutting was because Terry was planning the new stadium and needed all the cash he can get. He’s on the hook for the $500 million dollar plus overrun. Obviously the new investors will help ease that burden but that’s one hell of a hit even for someone like Terry. basically robbing Peter to pay Paul.
