I'm not concerned about his numbers last season. Goalies have bad seasons.... What is my concern is the concussion.

mainly a lurker but I'll post occasionally. I've been apart of hockey forums that were way worse than this place so I'm not concerned. I'll probably be more active as the team begins to get better.

I'm not that depressed over losing out on McDavid. It doesn't matter too much since we're getting a great player as a "consolation." If McDavid was the only great player then I would be pretty pissed too.

Thats hilarious! I normally don't get involved in enhancing surveillance videos but most are barely good enough to make out a human figure let alone zoom in to see a basketball in the reflection off of an eye. I definitely see dead people, a whole lot of them.... Definitely. I'm trying to get down there this summer. I'll reach out if I go down there

I have been torn this season, I hated the tank but understood the reason for it. Now that most believe that the tank is over and the rebuild will be accelerated, I began the ponder the question. What would I consider the rebuild a success? I've heard some say just years of winning would be fine. Others say consistent playoff appearances. Personally, if the Sabres do not win a Stanley Cup then it was colossal failure. I'm just curious what everyone here thinks.

The guy admitted he was obsessed (almost to the point of creepy) with McDavid. That didn't JUST come on. He's planned this the second he put in for the job.

Exactly. I'm sure Murray believes that he should be farther along but his attitude in the past got in the way of his development. Hopefully he's learned his lesson and will have a long, productive, career whatever team he lands on

I say try and get Niemi for a veteran goalie but I'm concerned he will want some serious bank. Sign him for two years and see how our prospects develop, especially Petersen. If not, then I'd be ok with re-signing Enroth but I'm still very concerned with Neuvirth. Neurvirth isn't the answer. He's riddled with injury as a young goalie so it's going to get worse. i only say Niemi to get us some decent veteran experience for a few years. He is definitely not a long term answer by any means, just a stop gap until they can see if there is anything worth a s**t in the pipe line.

ah..... If he isn't called up for the remaining 16, he'll make the roster out of camp. Then, hopefully with McDavid or Eichel, his attitude will change for the better and he can actually play in the NHL. We'll see in October...
