I discussed this tonight with my daughter and my wife at dinner. We came to the conclusion that Dallas losing while Vegas also losing while giving it everything they have knowing that Dallas lost, but they couldn’t do it against Chicago, would be the most pain inflicting scenario.
We are good at figuring out the most painful scenario. We have the experience to get the job done.

Keith Tkachuk was 18th overall.
There are plenty of really good players around there every year and sure some bust but there are Alexander Daigle's at the top too.

Devils coach Lindy Ruff was asked a routine question after Thursday's morning skate about how technology mushroomed around the game in recent years and had an interesting take on the proliferation of it on benches during games.
"I think the iPads sometimes are a distraction. Players are grabbing for iPads constantly," Ruff said. "There's times I'd just like to take the iPads and throw them away. I sense that almost everybody's looking at them.
"Sometimes when there's a mistake, they're looking at justification, that it might not be me. If you're barking out something we weren't good enough at, automatically somebody's reaching back and grabbing it and they want to go, 'Come on, that wasn't me.'"
Sounds like a great President of Hockey Ops.

The last ten years. I know they sucked and who the primary figures were but there is a lot of minutia that just falls away. Just the other day I forgot Ron Rolston exists. It ruined my day when I remembered.

On a related note I saw a commercial with O'Reilly selling extended car warranties. I was disappointed that it wasn't filmed in front of a Tim Hortons.

I was 14 up in the SRO at the time, and I'm suggesting an area not a total free-for-all. Wells Fargo just made a nice thing at the top of the arena.
