Dahlin on PP1 according to some practice reports, I like it!
Lets get back to the win column.

Because it contains 75% more water than an actual beer thus lowering it's freezing point to 0.5 degrees above water.
Good point, even the Canadian version tastes weak.
Just a strange way to advertise your beer, "colder".
-
How is Coors Light colder than other beers, as per that commercial?
-
Nice pinch Dahlin.
-
D pairs back to " normal".
-
Scandella with McCabe.
-
Dahlin starting with Risto.

Dahlin is gaining confidence on every shift. That goal is a stepping stone to greater things. He played on the right side tonight.
Ullmark looking good, a few of their scoring chances were good ones.
As stated earlier, Beaulieu is not a train wreck this season.
Skinner made a nice move on the first goal.
Reinhart with a nifty pass.

Yeah this org is pretty clear they don't think Sam is an NHL center.
I was surprised to see Skinner take the draws when Eichel was thrown out of the circle in game 1. I automatically assumed Sam would be the guy.

Let Dahlin run. He will be a difference maker soon.

Red light Rask.
Let's go Buffalo!

I think Tennyson should get sent down when Larsson returns. JBot should try to unload Larsson for anything once other teams get a few injuries.
I hope Nylander plays well in the AHL, forcing their hand to bring him up.

Let's go now!

Kind of expected those two forwards to get waived, they haven't stood out this camp or for any of their stints in the NHL. I've followed Baptiste since his Sudbury Wolves days. I thought he could be a fourth line PK guy at this level, still could happen.
This doesn't mean the end here, they may get sent down and called up occasionally. This speaks well of our depth at forward, a couple of wingers with some NHL experience may remain with the organization.

I'm glad he's back in the fold. It's a team friendly deal and I hope he is motivated to get a big raise.

Why not the Knights? ?
I am optimistic as well and hope for the playoffs.
The Knights are an example of why our roster turnover can work. Most of those guys had never played together before, yet became a team in short order. Their effort level for the entire season was incredible and they played the underdog card to perfection.
I believe their coach had a lot to do with their success.

UPL with the Sudbury Wolves and Pekar with the Barrie Colts, JBotts may have to watch some OHL games this year.
I know I will, those teams play in North Bay multiple times a year.
-
Mitts I love a lot.
D is my suggestion because he will be the man at that position for a long time.
-
Amazing sports feats are possible for beginners, take Kim Jong Il shooting 38 under 34 on one of his first tries at golf.

From Russia With Love is my favourite movie. I basically like them all.
Sean Connery is the best. Daniel Craig is a close second.
Hale Berry used the Ursulla Andress approach but just blew my mind.
Blofeld is a great villain, Mike Myers did a great job, lol.
I liked Oddjob's bowler hat, a simple but deadly gadget.
Pu$$y Galore was an edgy name.
I like Adele on Skyfall as my musical choice.

Makita was good and lasted a long time. His bucket was the ugly Northland which is one of the worst helmets ever. The Cooper may beat it, my mother bought me one of those.

I saw a lot of Leafs fans saying at the time of the trade that “everybody knows” he’s signing with them. There’s been plenty of talk about them not being able to afford their own guys, let alone adding another $6-7M guy.
There are many Leafs fans who believe every name player from the OHL wants to play there. They spout that out first without considering the cap.
They also have fans who think they are going to run the tables this year.

I'm not sure your first assertion is correct. We'll have to see how they mesh. Skinner is a play controller, just like Kane was. And Skinner is a shooter, just like Kane was. Over their careers they've averaged similar numbers of shots taken with a 10.7% (Skinner) to 9.1% (Kane) difference in shooting percentage. We'll have to see how meaningful that difference is with his new linemates.
Your second assertion is likely correct though. Kane wasn't terribly effective at puck control in the O zone. But he made up for it with his forecheck and backcheck. Kane's play in the defensive zone wasn't commented enough on this site IMO. He was a pretty decent 2 way player. Skinner isn't known for either of those traits. Miro Satan might be a good comparable.
Skinner's higher shooting percentage could be due to his choosing better shots than Kane's 50 footers from the left boards on a zone entry. Skinner may be a puck hog but is probably more creative than Kane.
Kane definitely has the edge defensively and physically.
One thing that has not been mentioned is that Skinner is a year younger than Kane and has three 30 goal seasons. Kane has always been mentioned as a potential 30 goal winger, with only one to his credit. I expect him to hit that number this season with the Sharks, barring injury. Skinner should match that due to a contract year and having better centres.

Pu may make the Canes this season. I think our centre depth would have made it difficult for him in Buffalo.
How Long Does JBot Get?

4-5 years should be his leash length, unless he totally screws up some trades. I think the Pegulas like him and have bought into his patient approach.
