    YES! I've noticed that our powerplay looks MUCH stronger when we have forwards on the point. Puck movement and shots getting through increase significantly to positive results.

    Time and Time again Eichel is making a superb play to get in the zone and Kane doesn't covert it into a goal...that pass didn't get through but come on already it's time. Kane from Eichel and Franson needs to be a nightly call.

    Kane has an issue with hitting the net. Once those two start clicking the amount of points scored will be scary.

    Several times this year when the other team has the puck at the point I've seen a Sabre try to bait the D to D pass for the easy breakaway. Oh how lovely it would be if it worked.

    That was just a solid play. Good board work to get the play started, two players driving hard to the net and a puck thrown across the goal. Good job!

    It doesn't help that all of our plentiful shots are missing the net as well I think that Luongo has gotten in the Sabres heads. They are trying to pick corners to be "perfect" to beat him and are missing the net. They just need to start making him make the save.

    I'll just nod and smile...Seems pointless when you initiate a rule that has called back three goals already in the coaches challange

    Does anyone know the reasoning behind the new stick down during face-off rule? How is it different than what it was and why should I hate it?

    I said something on the lightning game that wasn't simulcast. Ugly ugly calling to go with ugly play. I'll give him 20 games to get in rhythm.

    That was a nice saucer pass to set that up can't be too mad at the players on the ice.

    Is there such a thing as jet lag on a north south flight? Cause they look shaky as a whole so far.

    My god the rink is empty; I mean you can hear the emptyness as the slightly off pitch anthem singer's voice bounces back off the empty seats.

    and vigilance as he is decent on defense (well the back check for sure). Possibly flash but....man my nerd is showing. Sabres, golf and Magic: The Gathering the reasons why I'm usually some combination of drunk, broke, or screaming at my T.V.

    I can totally agree to waiting 10-15 games before passing final judgement

    I was looking at SportingCharts.com, which has: Weber #1 in both giveaways/turnovers and worst +/- (4) ratio for turnovers Second was Pysyk but had an even +/- Reinhart is third but is credited with a takeaway so I have to give him that. They haven't updated with this games stats yet. I think he will eventually have a place in the NHL, but for now he might be better served playing 20 minutes in Roc instead of 9:00 like he did tonight. The hree times that he's gotten knocked down that stick in my mind are the Lightning Game at center iced along the board that led to the Lightning entering the zone and twice today killing the momentum on the powerplay.

    The only down side to this game was Reinharts physical play, again. Especially notable on the power play. He was getting thrown around a lot. He might need some time in Roc to develop physically. Mentally and Skills wise he seems ready but his possession numbers are atrocious. Going north south he makes some excellent passes but as soon as he has to dig along the boards he's bested.

    We had more offensive possession time than an opponent. That happened all of zero times last year. :w00t: :lol: Goal aside this was the first game that Moulson was making awesome hockey decisions and got awarded with some assists.

    First time seeing the behind the net angle on Eichel goal; He put that puck in a space the size of a english muffin.

    We have guys on all four lines that aren't AHL pylons, it's been a long time since we've had even that distinction.
